@@mitcdav my friend has since changed his ways but the first time he did was when we were meeting for movies. We missed so many showing cause of him that I told him to meet up 30 min early just so we could catch a movie on time. He finally showed up 30 min early and just waited by himself for 15 min( I came in 15 min early after he called and asked where everyone was)

My daughter is late for everything but her own birth. (she was born 2 months early). We actually subtract at least 1/2 an hour as "cushion" so she arrives nearly on time. Many times she has shown up at a potluck over an hour late with food that everyone cannot eat as we were full.

My Grandpa was like this, beloved but always late. Grandma just started lying about when they had yo be anywhere. It worked. My sister inherited this. We say she will be late to her own funeral.

Perfect description of my husband. Our daughters and I will be sitting in the car waiting for him. It takes us at least an hour or more to do hair, makeup, etc when it takes my husband 15 minutes to get ready, yet we ALWAYS beat him to the car and literally sit there waiting for him. If I out live him I'm going to put "Always late, but definitely worth the wait! on his headstone.

Yeah this is pretty much my best friend. If I have to pick him up before noon there’s pretty much a 50% chance he’s still sleeping and I have to ring the doorbell for like 5 minutes until he gets up. One time he finally opened the door and then just went back to bed for another 10 minutes.

Got a family full of these people. They're pretty consistent with how late they are. So we just tell em to be be there an hour of two before it really starts and they're roughly on time. Except the one guy... He needs about a four hour lead time🙄😆
