I love your glue book pages. Here’s a trick for cutting out those inside bits of images. Just cut through a small piece to get to the inside, cut it out, and then when you glue it down stick it back together. It’s usually so seamless that you can’t see it.

Did you see the size of her scissors? No way could you use them to cut out small areas. Or at least I know I couldn't.

Hi Tina, I love this layout as much as the first one. I love old cars, especially old trucks. Old trucks make my heart skip a beat. I learned to drive on my Dad’s 1953 Dodge pick up truck. I was the second oldest of 6 kids and we used to ride in the open bed of the truck. We had such fun. No seat belts, no car seats for my little brothers. Can’t do that today. I miss those days. Love the fun of this. I want to do some paper dolls and dress them with clothes fitted with those tabs, they came in our girls comics in those days, Judy and Bunty. I had a very bizarre and extended stay in hospital. And exquisitely painful 😣. But I’m home and my lovely husband is taking great care of me.

It was so lovely seeing the South African postage stamp up close, I nearly shed a tear when you tossed it aside LOL!! Love glue booking and really enjoyed the journey through this double page spread! Perhaps one day I'll tune in again and see you use the stamp with the train and the map of my beloved country South Africa! 💕

I love your glue book idea. I have never made one also. You just crack me up over your fussy cut mishaps! Cut off a hand here or a foot there! No one will notice! Haha you can be so hilarious and I'm not sure if you even know it. Love your videos so much!

I do fussy cutting with small scissors and it helps get into the small spaces.

I love this spread. The old car is awesome. I love everything about it, but the rose's and the tea cups are my second choice. The placement of them brings the whole thing together !! Today's pages are so very pretty. Can hardly wait to see your next spresd. I dont mind watching you fussy cut your pieces as it shows how much time goes into it.

What I usually do to fussy cut the inner backgrnd, Make a slit in the center big enough to poke your scissors thru and fussy cut the inside as you would the outside

Oh fab, I love vintage cars! Especially from the 20's. Oops, Lol the 1920's. I'm normally into matchy matchy but this appeals so much, especially when the elements are out of scale! Lol, the amount of noses and things I chop off, oh great trick with the yellow background!!!!😄👏👏. I wouldn't have gone for the yellow but it looks great 👍. I find Barbara's 'top down ' glue method saves a lot of bother lol. Oh I eat chopped fruit every day 😋. Yes protein helps your muscles when you're exercising. I think it's a train on the stamp, uk stamps are boring in comparison😄. Oh I love the brolly powered flying car! Great spread! Have a great day, Tfs 💖💖

This first car your cutting out is the same type of car my grandparents bought I think it was in 1923? I have every receipt for it. Well I had them. I haven't come across them yet. He paid $500. For it and $5. A month. Tisk Tisk you said that you were not going to ink at all in this book

Im still trying to figure out how this is supposed to be relaxing. It appears to be stressful just trying to find the "just right" item for a specific spot. I tend to overthink things that cause me more stress. I haven't convinced myself to try it. Like I struggled with a happy planner.

Well I guess once you find the right piece it’s a rewarding project, so sorry if this caused you stress. Don’t give up on your journaling just yet, maybe try and give yourself permission to get things wrong and just go with what works for you at any particular time 🤷🏼‍♀️, no rules in journaling, and anything you don’t like can always be changed/covered up xx

Tina another thing I noticed about all your Videos I've watched I've seen you use scissors ✂️ to cut everything and not one of them paper cutters i dont know the name of it 🤔 🤷 lol .... Im to fuzzy cut yes you have use scissors ✂️ 😉 but I mean cut papers straight they have those paper cut thingies lol .

I am very confused as to what a glue book is. There seems to be at least three interpretations. Even in the junk journal dictionery, they admit there are different definitions. Oh my.

Tbh, they can be anything you want them to be, no rules when it comes to journal making xx
