That's what Fulgrim tried teaching his Legion. Before he became corrupted, Perfection is a state in the journey not the destination. When the Laer daemon possessed him he started believing he's 100% perfect despite smoking crack and shagging daemons.

Sanakht is wicked. Arguably top 10 most badass astartes. Wasn't as strong a psyker as his brethren but nobody fucked with him unless necessary

Lucius learned about him, since Sanakht's fellow battle brothers took pride in him being their best bladesman. He was also a pain in the ass for a year for being the only duelist warlord in HHL to have OTK potential with hoarding Psyker energy.

Sanakht was a menace on Terra in HHL for a year. Other than Siggy and Corswain he was possibly the scariest duelist before his nerf. He's still a powerful foe to face, but his nerfs destroyed his OTK potential.

There is another mention about the character Akurduana from another book in “Fulgrim : The Palatine Phoenix” when the character Cyrius another prideful and good swordsman from the 3rd is fighting and about to most likely loose against mortals (humans) he remarks that his swordsmanship teacher Akurduana would be disappointed in him for failing like that. The way he talks/thinks about it leaves the impression that Akurduana is still alive at the time (during the conquest of Byzas) which kinda messes with the timeline but that is classic with Horus heresy books. I think that would have stayed loyalist considering that his second in command was Solomon Demeter and even if he seems to be someone that focuses only on fighting he is still trying to master everything like drawing (even though he is bad at it) the character has it was described in Ferrus Manus: the gorgon of Medusa seems to be a man of integrity and somewhat wise since Ferrus chose him to be is equerry for the duration of the compliance in the book. It’s sad that he isn’t mentioned in other books except the black books where it says that he had hundreds of swords.

Also in the book Lucius noted that Sanakht and Sharrowkyn both possessed "abilities" being their primarchs gifts, and that was the main reason why only they could beat him (other than Garviel) up to that point. Would love to see Sharrowkyn come back and wreck his shit some day lol. Sanakht is awesome though

Hazon Dak'ir is a god tier Salamanders librarian people barely know about, who could easily be on this list. He is also MIA, probably because he was getting too OP, and GW just did not want to deal with that. He consumed an ancient salmanders gene seed, that is theorized to be one of the seven artifacts left behind by Vulkan that gave him a f*** huge power boost. He did some impressive stuff in the final book of the Tomes of Fire trilogy.

When it came to siggys broken hands.... is it possible he might have forced a semi smashed up sword grip, then deactivate the fibre bundles in his gauntlets, then they're locked in place.... then the rest is down to his skill? Not sure if the gauntlets are as up armoured as the rest of the armour

Some more insane feats of Tessarius: When he wasna child he killed a thunder marine without taking any dmg and his father wrestled with the big e. Before the ferrus duel he took on basically every good fighter in the iron hands in duels that would eventually become 3v1. He still wasnt touched. Ferrus talks with him about how well liked Tessarius was by fulgrim(he remains humble about that) and how annoyed he was at fulgrim for sending a marine seeningly to just embarrass him.

Hold on Hyperion could un blank blanks? That is awesome on so many levels. First, that’s just great for the blank. They get to have emotions and shit and not have people despise being near them. It’s also cool because imagine being a blank about to fight a psyker. You have fought psykers in the past and you know your mere presence drives them mad. Then he just snaps his fingers, turns you into a regular person and proceeds to turn you inside out with bullshit warp hax.
