Exactly. The depicted Latinos by the media are mostly Mestizos: a mixed race between European (usually Spaniards) and Native American. There are more Latinos than those of Hispanic countries, why aren't Jamaicans or people of the Caribbean islands (besides Dominicans, Puerto Ricans, and Cubans-- they already get more portrayal than the other Caribbeans) portrayed if they are Latino as well? Tbh I feel like Flama only portrays Hispanic cultures (which is fine) and not so much LATINOS. They've covered Brazilians, who are Latino and not Hispanic, but there's still more non-Hispanic Latinos out there who are not "covered". If they want change in media, it has to start within themselves by portraying Latinos of ALL races, cultures, nationalities, and geographic location: Whether that be Mexico, Central America, South America, or the Caribbean or those from that geographic descent.

Hispanic countries: those whose main language is Spanish; Iberian countries: those whose main language is found on the Iberian Peninsula (Sometimes Europe and the Americans are bundled together); Latino countries: those whose main language is Latin based (and in South America) - because I can't seem to find anyone calling Romanian and French people "Latin"...and for some reason I think people don't consider Haiti to be Latino either :/ but probably because they forget about it?But anyway, the Dutch and English Caribbean and American countries are not Latino but they are "American"
