I understand some of the comic relief characters, but when is a white person used for comic relief by using their culture except hillbillies?

Hollywood stereotypes are crazy, Several auditions I've done they have told me to either dye my hair dark to look "laten" or make it lighter to look "white". Im 6'2 with a tan and blue eyes with darkish auburn hair and it seems like I dont fit any of the molds they look for lol

There's something I've noticed about Latino superheroes, most of them have animal or fire based powers or themes. Some examples Reptil, The White Tiger family, Inferno, Fire, Miles Morales, Blue Beetle, Araña and Magma. There's also Sunspot but his powers are more solar based.
