The removal of the gallbladder is a common surgical procedure, and while it can provide relief from symptoms such as abdominal pain and nausea, there are also potential long-term side effects of the surgery.
The most common long-term side effects include changes in digestion, weight gain, and an increased risk of developing gallstones. In this video, we'll discuss the potential long-term side effects of gallbladder removal surgery so that you can make an informed decision about whether or not to proceed with the procedure.

I had mine removed 3 years ago. The medication I'm prescibed for diarrhea (cholestamine)causes constipation. Taking it every 3 days instead of daily keeps things in better balance.

My daughter had this operation, but my god she went through the mill, she could not eat or drink for day, had very bad acid reflux that burned her chest, was unable to lie down and needed to sleep sitting up. It was terrible indeed and a few times I thought I would lose her. Many people say they recover fast and that's good for them. But please think very carefully before getting your gallbladder out. After her gall bladder was removed by a top consultant in London, it was found she had no stones, just slush in the gall bladder. You can pay a high price for getting this gallbladder out. Maybe you'll be fine, but after seeing what my daughter went through I would never wish it on any young adult. She was very fit, always eats healthy, no drink, smoke, drugs, or anything. She was in great health apart from pains in her back and feeling nausea,, but god, after she came out of surgery, it was a nightmare for about 2 months, then things gradually got better, but she's still not 100 percent right. I don't want to frighten people, but do your own reading on it, about bile coming back up or going into the stomach, very painful and burning. I'm a mum, not a doctor and I'm just saying what we went through. Try everything if you can to get rid of stones naturally, I know the pain, but be careful. See dr eric berg dc on u tube.

My mother, both of my grandparents, and my great-grandmother all had their gallbladders removed and had no problems afterwards. Gotta love that this video does not supply a single link to any of the claims or studies they supposedly reference.

I had surgery a year and a half go. I gained crazy weight and I get sharp spasms on the right side of my stomach whenever I strain my abdomen. So being over too low, doing number 2, or working out triggers it. I have to stretch my body as fast as as I can and rub the area. I can feel it pop back in and I’m better. Really sucks

It’s true. Had mine removed 24 years ago & have to take Bile Salts + Betaine Hydrochloride to increase acid in my stomach to digest food. Don’t do it unless absolutely necessary! Your immune health suffers too.

I even know XO BILE helps too , it's the same as bile salts . My doctor NEVER mentioned to take this at all . I even asked questions, and he didn't know how to answer it . only because he doesn't recommend and don't care , since the surgery over with.

I just got my gallbladder removed 3 weeks ago and man I’m regretting it 😢 although I did have horrible excruciating gallbladder attacks before but 😣 I wish I didn’t have to take it out. I had stones in my gallbladder almost ready to burst but now I’m feeling horrible. I thought I would feel better by now. I keep hearing people who have had the gallbladder taken out how much better they are without it and blah blah blah but I guess I’m the unlucky one 😞 I feel like I’m never going to be normal again. I’m always having painful gas and very bloated and constipated. I also have Gerd so idk if it’s also that but I wish I can have my gallbladder again 😔 I looked up some information online about some supplements to take for people who don’t have gallbladders now and bile salts came out. Have you tried it ? How has it helped you ? Please thank you in advance.

@@dianaalvarado8956 Keep researching, asking. Doctors let you go without explaining what's going to happen in years and decades. They saved your life, be happy that you only gave to suffer from constant diarrhoea until you die...thats how they see it. Take something, whatever works for you to protect your intestines and liver for long term.

Of course ders pros n cons but will not admit it. Gotta make money somehow. My point of view. God Bless U all. In Jesus name Amen 🙏 🙌 ✨ ❤ 💖 💓 🙏 🙌

They don't tell anyone. What's the point? It must be done, so knowing it will get worse and worse after years, just complicates decision-making. Although gall stone removal is the correct procedure but they very rarely can save the gall bladder too. They just take it out instead of emptying the stones out. But life will never be the same again.

Yes. Normally, when people eat, the bile goes out and helps digestion and then the rest of the bile retreats into the gall bladder, when finished. After gall bladder removal the bile has nowhere to retreat, pours into the intestine, causing diarrhoea. The video says people can't digest fat, in fact they can't digest anything, and regardless what passes through the pipe, will cause diarrhoea. Even water triggers bile production and release.
