@@stevek3037 It's called sludge. I don't know how long you've been suffering with this, but it usually doesn't improve. I had a horrible doctor who didn't see a gallstone for the first couple of years so she kept insisting it was just reflux! I was miserable and threw up every few days no matter how careful I was about what I ate. Finally I got breast cancer and the the doc also found the gall stones on xray so she removed my gall bladder as well. She was livid with my family doctor. She said I had active infection, old scars, sludge and a gall stone blocking the duct. I fired my family doctor after that. She was such a simp! I used olive oil and lemon juice drink weekly at night for months before the surgery to try to keep the bile duct open. Look the treatment up. But eventually that no longer produced those little jade crystals in the commode as the scarring blocked everything. Usually recovery from gall bladder surgery is quick and not terribly painful. As long as it hasn't burst spewing poison into your abdominal cavity. But I couldn't eat as much at a meal afterwards. Your liver still produces bile but doesn't have a storage tank! Good luck with your treatment! ☺

My gangrenous gallbladder was removed nearly 30 years ago in my late 30s. I have no idea why it was in the condition it was but further, I was not given any guidance on how to eat after the surgery. I just kept eating the same way ever since and haven't had any related health issues. I had no choice in the removal as it seemed I was having a heart attack until the doctors discovered the gallbladder issue and out it came. I haven't missed it and life is good.

I had the same issue even longer ago and have found I do best eliminating all overt fat, especially in animal products. And despite what this huckster is selling, we have no need for oils of any kind, oil is not food, its just concentrated fat that has all the nutrients and fiber removed! The only essential fatty acids are the omegas, which ideally are eaten as a component of a whole food, not an oil or profitable $upplement. Our crappy, meat heavy, fat-laden diets are the cause of gall stones... little cholesterol nuggets that form from excesses of it.

Hey… I’ve been there & now lost the weight. Without gallbladder. Finally. My tip: Do your bloodwork to find out what is missing from your system. Then talk to a dietitian about how to add that to your diet in a way that works without stressing your digestive system. That, plus non-strenuous exercise & intermittent fasting, helped me. Be patient though because the process took a long time.

I have no gallbladder and after it was taken out I started on a roller coaster of one problem right after another and have slowly made some progress. The biggest was when my thyroid stopped functioning and levathoroxin didn't seem to help. In my reading and research I came across an article and did what it said, I stopped the meds on my own. I started eating two brazil nuts every day and three months later my thyroid was working well and the nodule they had found was shrinking, one year later it was gone. I look for a better way now on everything.

Thanks for this info. My story is similar. Gallbladder removed 29 years ago. Very active and sporty since, eating mainly a low-fat diet. A couple of years ago my thyroid became less active so I started on a corrective diet, eating brazil nuts for selenium and sea kelp for iodine, also a supplement for tyrosine. Seems to have helped. Also I have been more selective on fats: now extra virgin olive oil, fish, nuts, small amounts of butter or cheese.

No Gall bladder for over 35 years. No regrets! I couldn't eat! I was down to 90 lbs and no one seemed to know what to do. I was going to die. I was told they couldn't do the surgery for a month. I said don't worry, I'll be dead by then. That was on a Friday, they did the surgery on Monday. Even with the staples and drainage tube, I felt so much better! Anything I ate, absolutely anything, caused so much pain....I didn't have stone, it just didn't work it was i was told. I didn't care. I wanted to live. I was skin over bones. I haven't been able to eat certain food since. That has been fine with me. I had no pain. I put on weight, which I needed. I was so grateful. After all this time and many years of research, doctors know more. I am grateful for that. I have been taking prebiotic, etc for a number of years now. So glad to know I'm on the right track. I use oils like grape seed, olive and coconut. I ditched the vegetable oils years ago. This information has been helpful in knowing I've been doing the right thing. I was 16 when I had my 1st attack and 31 before I finally gave in to have it removed. Then it was do or die. Thank you for sharing.

My own experience said that you need at least the first four. Ox bile replace function of gallbladder, enzyme supplements the pancreat, probiotics helps with intestine, fat helps maintain the whole system.I did the first four after my own research , it helps to eliminate my running bowel movement. I hope it will eventually fix my iron deficiency since now I have better absorption. Have not tried the GI reset. Still researching.

The biggest issue I've had since having my gallbladder removed (walnut-sized stone tried to wedge itself into the duct) is the liver dumping all the bile straight into my intestines, causing massive diarrhea whenever I've strayed from the keto diet. In time, it resolves itself, but it's miserable during the adaptation phase.

I was like 12 and the doctor gave me a choice..he said we can do surgery and take it out or you can just take some pills. He said if I opted to not take it out it could burst and cause alot of complications. The way he explained it was so weird and he made it seem so common and that I should just it get taken out because most likely it would happen eventually. Another tip I can recommend is get your stress under control so your body can reabsorb bile, I got IBS and tons of bile would come out and I know it's from stress and anxiety, my GI has been suggesting a bile binder, that I make too much and I found a digestive complex with some bile in it, a lower amount and it helped, the ones with higher amounts caused me issues. Also one last tip, take bile AFTER meals taking it before or during a meal is not a good idea because food needs to be acidified before you add bile into the mix, so wait a few mins after eating then take, has helped me. I had mine taken out at 13, wished I knew everything I knew now though, my extreme nausea and vomiting did stop after they took it though, but what the heck do you know at 13, you trust your doctor at that age. *Mini update to this post I’m 34 now for reference and lifestyle changes were never really explored, it was just, they ran some test, got around to gallbladder and was like doesn’t seem like it might be working well or at all, not really sure, so let’s take it.

I got my gallbladder out and I couldn’t keep food in me longer than an hour for almost two years it went in and the horrendous pain then out it came the other end almost the same way. I got soooo skinny. I got pregnant and when I got an ultrasound the doctor told me I had an digestive system like a dog. 🥺it eventually stopped during my pregnancy. The doctor who took my gallbladder out never told me anything all he kept saying was my body will adjust. This was back in 1990’s. Thank you for your information!! ❤

I got a gall bladder pain over 5 years ago. After an ultrasound, the doctor recommended removal surgery. I instead did a gall bladder flush. For two more years I ate anything I wanted. I got pain again for 2 hours 2 years after the diagnosis. I did another gallbladder flush. No problem for 2 more years and I avoided trigger foods like red meat, eggs, pizza, and greasy fried foods. Then in late Feb through May 2023 I had pain a couple of times. I did the gall bladder flush again. And I started eating a gallstone diet of largely vegetables, brown rice, potatoes, baked beans, artichokes, wholewheat brown bread, fish, fruits, nuts, beer, extra hydration, bile salts, magnesium malate, low-fat yogurt, and sour foods. I use an air fryer to lessen cooking oils, fats. I eat plant-based veggie burgers and french fries. No problems now for near 9 months.

Take digestive enzymes, tudca and probiotics during or before a meal. You can take them every day togehthor or as you want. Also, do fasting. I try do omad or 18 hour fast. I always feel better after a 24 hour fast. Fasting heals the gut lining and Ive found I have very little to no pain in the gut after fasting. I also try do one or more 24 hour fast per week or on my days off. Make sure to drink some electrolytes otherwise you will have headaches.Since doing all these things, I have very little to no pain. Litterly feel normal again, no bloating no pain. Gl friend.

I've had a few different problems with my gut, IBS, low stomach acid, leaky gut, Gerd and fatty liver to name a few, that I've now sorted. I've also taken Tudca and my fat digestion is much better than it was but not completely fixed even with the stomach acid levels back to normal & bile flow sorted. My question is can I take ox bile by itself as I have my gal bladder & if we recycle up to 90% with it filing the gal bladder to release after we eat food, this would remove the timing aspect for me to know exactly when to take it, as I've heard lots of different conflicting advice on this, some say just after food, some hr to 2 hrs after and my last bottle said before food, this one just says the dosage and nothing about when, I can't find much info about the timing with a gal bladder intact, any advice i much appreciated

Good info but I hate how ox bile is collected. It's ox torture. Is there a synthetic version?

My gallbladder was removed in 2003 due to gallstones and I have not had a moment's trouble since. I eat what I want when I want, no supplements.

My gallbladder was removed but the stones had moved into my bile duct. Pain like I’ve never had before had to go back in to have them removed. SMH

Maybe you can suggest how I might be able to keep my gallbladder… I have a single 3.1 or 3.2 cm calcified stone in my gallbladder… they’re wanting me to have it taken out, but I’d like to keep my gallbladder! Idk but fear taking it out, even though they are saying it’s so large it could cause very serious consequences to keep it. Thanks for sharing Sub’d 🙏🏼👍

Choline helps transport fat out of the liver into the cells where it's used for energy. It's important for preventing gallstones because gallstones are caused by an excess of fatty cholesterol that fails to get broken down and is stored in the gallbladder too long. You can find choline and other nutrients to support gallbladder health in our Liver + Gallbladder Cleanse or Support. store.drlivingood.com/products/livingood-daily-liver-gallbladder-support -LGD Team
