I had this same hairstyle for a couple years and loved it! It's so badass looking. My hair is so fine so getting that lift was a STRUGGLE. I recently went to a shorter pixie and I love it AND you are making me want to grow it back out again!

We are at exactly the same point in growing out our hair! This was fun to watch. I’m going to try it. I’ve been getting an undercut from my barber every couple of weeks and wearing the top down rather than up, but I definitely want to try your way the next time I wash my hair. Thanks for this!

I really like the pic you included of the cut you're aiming for as a transition to the bob you eventually want. Quite an edgy look but still very feminine. I do hope you have the staying power to stick with your plan, as I think you'll look gorgeous with a bob style cut. I'm a wash and go girl (very curly hair), watching your routine had my mouth on the floor. But it's totally worth it, the finished look is epic. How often do you wash your hair? 💗💗💗

hi Mel , sorry haven’t tuned in just feeling a little depressed , better now , ! i have a chin level bob and you may think i am boring but since i was six years old had a bob but just different colours brunette, red , blonde highlights , red highlights , blonde all over , now pure bright silver , and yes this shade for four years and i love it , just a root touch up every 5 weeks and a toner to make it bright silver its beautiful colour , love it !, but my roots are now grey so the shade i have is just making my hair look even and with a toner the shade is stunning ,, but i have a fringe or as you would say bangs ! cut t just below my eyebrows .stay safe everyone love liz x

I have the tiny Babyliss iron and I love it also. Agree about the hot setting so the heat protectant spray is a must for me. I love the Redken hot sets thermal spray and boy does it hold. I just brush it out after using the flat iron and it’s good for the day. Love your short hair. You helped me to see that being bald and having super short hair is beautiful which I so needed after losing my hair after chemo. I am praying your mother is doing well and would love an update

re: curls. There are charts for classifying hair wave/curl intensity. (I think I’m the lowest level at 1a or 1b.) It can help to find a stylist who knows how to cut wave/curl. Discovered this after a lifetime of frustrating haircuts. Im a fan of dry cutting. PS That mini flat iron looks awesome.

Mel, you are a stronger woman than I. LOLLL, I have just a "Betty Page" haircut and the most I can bring myself to do is wash it. LOLLLL, I HATE doing my hair!! I don't know why cuz I can do makeup for hours and hours with joy, but doing hair? HECK no, I can't stand stand it for some reason!!! Although your tools look like it makes doing your hair super easy. I'm 42 and grew up with all those annoying hair tools that take forever and ruin your hair so maybe I just need to invest in some of the newer hair tools that are good for your hair AND make it super fast. Thanks for showing the tools you use for your hair too!!!

My causin shaved her hair cause she wanted I fresh start a year ago this November and now a year later she has a bob. It has been nice seeing the different hair cuts. Just hang there and if later you wanna cut again that’s fine. I love you bald blonde look but it has been nice seeing your hair grow.
