In my parish we have confessions only for one hour on a Saturday. All the other neighbouring parish you would have to arrange confession to be heard.

I highly recommend asking for the intersection of the Θεοτόκος, our Blessed Mother. She is truly our most gracious advocate 🙏 💙

I have noticed the enemy trying to seep in the root of all sin, pride, by believing because I am a couple years into conversion that I have little more to learn about my faith. I am so glad that I watched this video in order to humble me and learn a ton but also realize that there will always be more to learn about my faith. Hello, Amber. Thank you for the video! I was wondering If you have done a video on scrupulosity? I have been struggling with feelings of not doing enough as a child of God (this has been getting better, and I now better understand the Lord stands by me in my journey). For example, when I leave confession (mostly in the past) I felt I did my best to mention all my sins and those I have forgotten by stating that I had sins I could not recall and genuinely feeling contrite for them. But when I would be finished with my penances, etc. I would feel as if I was not in a state of grace. Thanks again.

State of grace or grace is that it is Jesus's blood alone that saves us nothing we can do to earn salvation. It is the eternal rest we have in Jesus and he set us free from the law of sin and death. The law/our works none of that saves. It's a schoolmaster meant to bring us to Christ. We are not under the law but under grace. For it is by grace through faith you have been saved not by works lest any man should boast. It is the gift of God. Ephesians 2:8-9 Sin once separated us from him, but Jesus tore the veil that once kept us separated. He fulfilled every law perfectly and bore all our sins. In Romans it says nothing in all of creation shall separate us from the love of Christ! When we put all our faith in Jesus he has saved us and keeps us saved, the Bible specifically Ephesians says our salvation is sealed by the Holy Spirit and Jesus says no man shall pluck his sheep out of his hands nor his Father's hands. When we receive the Holy Spirit after putting all our faith in Jesus, not any work of ourselves, the Holy Spirit dwells within us. We're as close as we could possibly be to God and his word says never will he leave us nor forsake us. That means never will he forsake us. And Jesus says, behold I am with you unto the very end of the age. 🩷
