With so much content available on KZfaq, it can be hard to find good motorcycle content on KZfaq. While I could have listed many other channels in this video I narrowed the list down to these 5 channels that you should watch too. Ride Like a Pro - DanDantheFireman - FortNine - Motojitsu - Doodle

Dear Kevin, honestly I wasn't expecting you to mention this guy, Motojitsu or Fast whatever. This guy has skills and so, but you can also teach an ape to perform some funny things. So, skills are not enough. This guy, Motojitsu, deals very bad with different opinions, and if you have one you'll be immediately blocked. He's a wako, he's the Rev. Jim Jones of motorcycling. Don't like him. About other channels you refer to, Fortnine is absolutely great, no doubt. And your's, of course, I can't wait to watch your videos on a weekly basis. Pretty honest and accurate information. Thanks for your work, Kevin! Congrats from Portugal! 😀👍🇵🇹

Noraly's "Itchy Boots" won't teach us much about improving our riding skills, but BOY as she rides her Royal Enfield Himalayan solo (this time from Patagonia to Alaska), she bravely shares with us unusual road and weather conditions, inter-country travel and how we're all so alike...and different!

Mototrek - Motorcycle Adventures - FTA Adventures - and this obscure channel called MCrider. A side note: Took a class with "Ride Like a Pro Jerry Palladino" in Detroit years ago with one of his local instructors. Loved it and learned more from it than a month of Sundays practicing in a parking lot alone. I realized too that just because you have ridden for years and put on a million miles there is lots to learn or refresh yourself on.

Don't know Doodle but you and Motojitsu have helped me the most in enhancing my riding skills. Even though I've been riding since the 70' I can still pick up some nuggets from you guys. @@D.E.X I see M.Marquez do it quite regularly, while Rossi & Rins almost never do. I guess it comes down to their individual riding styles and the bikes they're on. Obviously nobody condones doing any of sort off the track. Motojitsu doesn't talk about knee down as some sort of party trick, watch him it's worth it. His videos helped me get my riding license.
@MotoJitsu
@MotoJitsu 4 жыл бұрын
@@D.E.X I have never said knee down or elbow down is necessary for street riding, it isn't. The first thing to why, is it's insanely fun to do and even if there wasn't any other reason, that's enough...it's fun! But LEARNING how to get your knee down is insanely beneficial for any rider, even though it's 100% unnecessary for public roads. It gets you to learn the limits of your bike, confidence inspiring, great way to understand body position, timing, your vision, how to stay relaxed, etc. I don't move my body much when on the street but I do practice a lot and go to the local track numerous times a month. I recommend taking high level courses yourself and seeing for yourself like Total Control Advanced Riding Clinic, American Supercamp, Champ School, CA Superbike School, MotoVentures, etc.

Hey Kevin, I cant tell you how proud I am to see that you have a sponsor and getting more funding to help you out. I am a former MSF instructor who in the downtime of a major motorcycle maintenance over haul has been scanning KZfaq for great knowledge to learn. Its completely amazing to learn that I follow these 4 guys and may have seen the last young lady as well. As someone once said that a wise man learns from his mistakes but an even wiser man learns from others mistakes. One of the great videos of yours I tell people about is CAN YOU SEE ME NOW on how your lane position and gentle swerving alerts car drivers to motion and makes us VISIBLE with the left turns in front of us and pulling out from side roads into our path of travel, fantastic content ! So I enjoy DDFM a lot to learn what exactly not to do on a bike, and how to pick up on more road strategies. Ryan F9 has an amazing video on Invisibility Training that I tell everybody about besides you of course. I also give kudo's to MotoJitsu who constantly stresses the aspect of shut up and practice, and as well pushes constant learning. Funny but I just bought the ride like a pro video 2 for special just this week.Kevin keep up the stellar work I tell EVERYBODY that rides about your videos and mention the other fellows as well ! What a great group of guys to have associated with each other for all of us bike riders !See ya on the road AmigoWayne

MC rider thanks for the videos. I stumbled across your page about a year ago and have watched ever since. I have been riding for 20+ years and have rode always with a helmet but that has been about it as far as protection. I just never really gave it a second thought. Then April 2019 I was driving my truck and seen a very bad accident take place about 3 or 4 car lengths in front of me. I must admit it made me a little nervous when riding. I have since purchased full riding gear from Revzilla and after watching several of your videos I have learned a lot of things that I never knew before. Looking back I can say the accident that i seen could have been avoided with some simple lane positioning choice. Anyway thanks for the videos and all the information. I tell every rider that I know about your channel and suggest they watch.

Hi Kevin, you may be surprised to know that you have followers from different parts of the world including Oman, thank you for helping us improving our skills and road strategy. I followed Motojitsu, Motorman and Fortnine, I will check the rest. I think Mototrek should be in the list, this channel is very useful for adventure riders. Thank you again for helping us become better riders.

I have watched the first 4 since before I started riding, and recently found Doodle. I frequent DDFM and MCRIder almost daily and was inspired by y’all. Hope to be able to link up and ride with you one day Kevin as I think that would be loads of fun!

It was great to see a KZfaqr promoting other KZfaq channels. Thanks for your suggestions. I watch 3 out of those 5. I also watch Life at Lean; a British fellow who shares his knowledge of track day riding and another one I like, for entertainment is Yammie Noob. He's in Texas somewhere and although he's not in the same category as MC rider, I would love to see you two guys have a debate about anything motorcycle related. That would be a blast! I'll check out Paladino and Doodle. Thank you!

Great list and a great video Kevin. Dan and Ryan were already subbed for me so I'll have to check out the rest (along with checking some of these in the comments). Congrats on passing 200k! Your advice and honest approach is I'm sure what keeps most of us here. Oh, and you're going to love Ireland...

I have never seen one of Jerry's videos, I have previously subscribed to MotoJitsu but found his "get your knee down" repetitious and he likes the sound of his own voice. I too like Doodle, she provides a different perspective on things. I watch a lot of DDFM but I haven't the time to watch them all. However Kevin, your weekly video and those put out by Ryan are priority viewing and are watched asap, for me the two of you have the best motorcycle content on KZfaq. You should also check out Nottingham Roadcraft.

Apart from the channels you mentioned, I'm a big fan of the UK channel Roadcraft Nottingham. They have a lot of very helpful videos on all kinds of mc-related topics. I've learned a lot from that channel. Of course they always ride on the wrong side of the road, but you can get used to that. It's definitely worthwile.

Thanks for adding Doodle to my list (I already had all the others). Just like the rest of you, I think she'll also save lives -- in her case, by reminding riders why they ride, on a fundamental emotional level, integrating body, mind, soul, and spirit, especially encouraging young beginning riders to focus on these qualities, instead of being adrenaline junkies by speeding and taking risks.

Truly great minds run in pairs Kevin. I watch all the channels you do plus "Got Dave" because you recommended him! Turn to the end of Jan. this year when you were riding that big "GS", count down about 20 comments & read the first comment I ever made to any U-Tube channel. I think it will lighten up your day. God Bless you

I enjoy TheMissendenFlyer. He does several tours similar to the Ireland your you've been promoting. He also reviews several different bikes. On Her Bike and Forty Times Around are also fun channels to watch. I tend to live vicariously through them since I cannot afford to travel the world on a motorcycle.

In all seriousness though I've been watching you, DanDan and Fortnine and I KNOW for a fact the stuff I've learned (and practiced, and practicedandpracticedand PRACTICED!) has saved my sorry ole butt more than once whilst riding in San Francisco. And just so you know the "why" I haven't hit the *subscribe* button just yet, I'm on a fixed income for now, re-arranging priorities like mad, getting ready for a Route 66 trip... You get the idea. My top 4 are you, FortNine, Revzilla (they're the 800 lb gorilla, but do have some good content), and the Ari and Zach episodes of Motorcyclist Magazine (yes, that era did end but the content lives on). All the rest crowd into the # 5 slot. Dan Dan and MotoJitsu have some great stuff but, IMO, often ramble and need an editor to force them to stay concise and on-point (respectful criticism, not meant as a slight). Thanks for highlighting Doodle. I hadn't really clicked on her as a provider. Thanks for the years of instruction.

I mostly follow Adventure riders.. Never had a riding lesson in my life but raced Motocross.. Most of it is just common sense. My Father taught me to be a cautious driver like the way they drive in Germany. They have very thorough drivers training in Germany. Finally took a Ski Racing Maher Clinic that vastly improved my ski racing.. I do follow Doodle simply because she is so enthusiastic.. I thought some of Dan Dan the Fire Man gave some pretty bad advice.. NRA Instructors have very little training.. it does not really mean they are qualified.. I used to be both a skiing Instructor and Windsurfing Instructor.. You can stand on the Hill and talk about skiing all day but you will never get any better with out skiing quite a lot.. I also never had a Professional Truck Driving lesson in my life either started doing that at age 17. Saved money from age 9 till age 12 for my first Yamaha GT-80 .. Deagan38 has a 12 year old kid doing back flips on a Motorcycle... I never knew how to do a proper wheelie in a dirt bike .. flipped one doing a 6th gear wheelie when I was 16 years old was knocked out for 3 minutes.. Just watched a video the other day where they explained you always have pressure on the rear brake and you adjust your wheelie angle with the throttle .. I often share MCrider channel with beginners..

Ryan F9 is AMAZING - and not just his rigorously-researched videos where he tests things and gives tips. His REALLY cinematic stuff appears in his more philosophical ones. I think the one entitled "Crossing Canada's Only Desert on a Yamaha TW200 - 2018 Review", is a bloody masterpiece. There are many more. And, he even did an interesting review of the Super Tenere, one where he kinda hated it, and then grudgingly came to like it, as he saw that, indeed, it was not the master of anything, but was good at everything, including being shockingly good on fire roads and off-road. Your channel and his are my favorites, and like you, I stop whatever I'm doing when a new video of his comes out.

Definitely a good list. I am sure there are a few others out there like Mototrek but this is your list. Not mine. ;) Channels like yours really help the community but unfortunately, all the squids won't watch these videos. Too many of them are wrapped up in their own world from bad influence. The least we can do is attempt to teach newer riders how to do everything safely. 95% of the motorcycle related content are a bunch of dude bros speeding in groups, talking to themselves for 15 minutes, clickbait booties, or "Top 5 Reasons Why This Is Better Than This" nonsense or flailing their arms like a muppet towards a car (after entering into their blindspot). Thank you for everything you do!
