5 postcards created on the gel plate using different techniques.
Hosted by ‪@CeriGriffiths‬ and supported by ‪@PMartistStudio‬ ‪@DarcysMixedMedia‬ ‪@EddieMakesArt‬ ‪@devonrex4‬ and many other wonderful channels.
Create a postcard a day throughout July using a gel printed element.
I aim to use a different technique for each postcard…although this could be difficult!!!!!
I used acrylic paper, gel plate, acrylic paint, brayers, paintbrushes and more.
I hope you enjoy.

@@quirkyqueens Yes, very interesting indeed. Did you know the celtics had mask brooches? I am interested in the celtic culture, it is mystical since there is not much to refer to. As far as I know there was a huge celtic stronghold close to where I live in Germany. Art is a fun way to learn about former cultures, isn't it. 🤗👩🏼‍🎨🎨

I did not know this!!! I’m going to research. I was at walker museum in Liverpool a couple of weeks ago and they had a big section devoted to ancient masks from around the world. It was fascinating. Naturally I came home and ordered 4 books (very cheap) from eBay to find out more!!

What a nice, clearly layed out project! Hello Kirsten, I love the face best, because I want to try making faces that are not so ... sweet as mine usually come out of the tidy part of my artistic character 🤣. Aw Britta, thank you. I got your email!!! I’m sorry, I’ve not sent the parcel yet…it will be sent!!! I’ve still to send Darcy’s hers too…and it’s even longer!!! I’m awful, but it will be sent. 3 of my paintings were selected, I’m gonna do a post…but the big news is I entered 6 of my dads photos…and they were all picked!!! I’m a bit jealous 😂 Try using your non dominant hand or closing your eyes, that will stop you drawing tidily 😂❤️❤️❤️

@brittahansen8688 I just watched a French lady with her quirky home (Danielle jacqui), literally covered in beautiful abstract faces. Obviously I couldn’t understand a word, but that didn’t matter. That’s the goal you need to aim for 😂🤣😂❤️❤️❤️
