Indeed, God loves those who act justly. There is a Hadeeth in sahih al bukhari 5590 in which the prophet Muhammad salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam said "There will come from my nation people whom consider lawful al hira (zina), silk, musical instruments and alcohol..." and there is also consensus among the four major schools of thought that musical instruments are forbidden, including the piano, however there is an instrument that was used at the time of the prophet Muhammad salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam at certain occasions called ad-daff, which is like a drum but without strings attached to it.
