Thank you. Great tidbits. When I pull my hair back I see lots of white and darker gray. When it’s down I still have so much dye that has a yucky orange hue. The end of June 2022 was the last box dye. Some days I don’t even think about how my hair looks and other days I don’t like it. But I’m not giving up. Always enjoy your videos. Have a great day.

Your hair looks beautiful, lustrous, and healthy Katie. I must watch your product usage video next. For me, I'm mainly gray from roots to mid-length with a brownish color on the ends. It's very thick, coarse, and choppy on the ends. My challenge is finding a stylist who is versed in gray hair care for women of color (kinky texture) as so far I've not lucked up on. I don't see myself ever going back to dying it due to the newfound freedom I'm experiencing not to mention men complimenting me on it often. I didn't realize just how much I was spending money and time-wise and being at the mercy of a professional. Anyway Thanks for the inspiration to keep going on this amazing journey and for sharing your milestones as well. Btw, you have a lovely abode, and your dog is adorable.👍🏾😊💕

I hope everyone comes around to loving their gray hair! I have a fair complexion so thought gray would be horrible on me but it is so much more flattering than my formerly dark brown dyed hair. It is so healthy looking and I LOVE not having roots to deal with. Listen to Katie and be patient for all the dyed hair to grow out. I was absolutely amazed how beautiful it was when fully gray!!

I'm so glad! And you might be surprised to find that you won't have any difficult days - maybe I'm remembering everything with rose-colored glasses but I found the whole transition fun!

I love these tips! I’ll check out the links! I love your hair long! It’s beautiful. I’m sure shorter will be beautiful too for a change. I’m partial to long hair so I say don’t take off a ton. Maybe gradually shorten it. Just an idea. Thanks for this helpful video!

For me, I wasn't nearly as grey as I thought but mainly the texture was impossible to deal with! The grey was super frizzy, wavy and dry & nothing I tried helped it. It was super fragile and breaking off-using any heat tools was completely not possible if I wanted any length (I have always had long hair, not giving that up). I realize now that grey hair is much more dry and must be cared for differently, so if/when I try again (I made it two whole years last time) I will be better prepared to care for it. Right now I am using all natural henna to dye it with for the time being.

My hair is completely white and I hate it. When I have outdoor pictures taken in sunlight, it completely disappears. I want to go to a super-light blonde, just to give it some depth. I'm going to use a temporary color, because I don't want to damage it any more than possible, plus my hair thinned a lot during COVID, and a darker color will make my scalp show through more while it grows back in.

Find a hair stylist who you can work with. I did, after many years of hit and miss hair experiences. My hair color is salt and pepper, and he WILL NOT COLOR IT. (never asked for a color, he mentioned it at my initial consultation 10 years ago.
