Awesome video. I am small KZfaqr, and I think that for small channels the most important thing is to get good presence from the beginning. If you are not popular, people won't care even if you have the best videos and the best content on platform. I am not beginner anymore, but I know how hard it can be (and honestly if I didn't use a lot of Fame- ster, I would have quit a long time ago. It made everything much easier for me, especially getting to 1000 subs and view hours).

Becoming a KZfaqr is, in many ways, like running a small business. You need to create and share content that really interests your audience, similar to an entrepreneur who must offer products or services that solve customer problems. As your channel grows and gains traction, the demand for content and management complexity will also increase. At this point, thinking about hiring a team to assist with the production, editing and management of the channel can be a strategic decision to maintain quality and continue expanding. Ultimately, success as a KZfaqr depends as much on your ability to engage your audience as it does on your ability to manage and scale your operations.

Just started my channel beginning of June. KZfaq has a way of humbling oneself😂, sometimes I feel I’m doing everything right but I still have no subscribers or views which is disheartening. But I’m going to continue experimenting and seeing what works. Lifestyle content is my direction and documenting my uni diaries as a cosmetic scientist student, even thought atm I’m on summer break, I’m trying to build that momentum, building my experience and confidence with the camera and consistency, currently posting 1x a wk. Good luck to us new KZfaqrs.

Best tip for growing a channel that nobody talks about. HAVE A schedule ! 10-15 minute videos only and try to upload 3 videos per upload day! So when people like your original video you’ll have more along those lines. Also im sorry to tell you guys something you might head but commentary/reaction/stream/reuse videos don’t get as much traction as they used too! If you’re doing long form video essay GET TO THE POINT 9/10 the person who’s watching that video doesn’t need the first 15 minutes of the video to just be backlogged. Also overly edited videos on small accounts yes quality does build viewership but like I said, if you’re not constantly uploading at that high quality at least once a week you’re gonna lose subs. Lastly there’s so many KZfaq documentaries out here that are overly dramatic as somebody who is the KZfaq vet essentially I can’t stand long, boring drawn out videos . At first it was cool, but everybody makes the exact same type of video about the exact same thing at the exact same page with the exact same sound booms and voice. Remember, people would rather have the original than the copy! Create your own voice ! Create your own pace ! Your work in the beginning is always gonna look like somebody else’s but don’t forget to have fun if you’re not enjoying creating content now you’re not gonna enjoy creating Content later. Lastly however, you feel about yourself with the camera off will show up when the camera is on you can only hide your insecurities for so long so please take care of your mental health, CoryxKenshin is a great example of getting the bag and dipping make re-watchable contact create passive income for yourself The whole point is for your channel to be like reruns on the TV show so when you choose to take a break your subscribers, I have thousands of videos to go back to that still feel “fresh” Create your own style! And don’t forget to utilize your small subscriber base that’s how you generate long-term money as well good and good cahoots with your OGs and treat them, I said, give them privilege as you grow, sooner or later, they’re gonna be begging you to continue to communicate with them as we can figure, which means they have to throw money at you watch any lovelyTi live stream, and she is a genius because she is cultivate an audience thats generous, kind and not afraid to clap back! People don’t think about the benefits of being a really small creator mostly people feel like you’re more relatable you don’t have to focus on having a super high quality camera or good lighting, someone like D’Angelo Wallace I’ve been watching since he started his very first video of him in his bedroom terrible quality camera got me hooked on him even though it was bad. The quality of his work still show through. So please go don’t feel insecure about being broke. Use what you got bare maximum. And don’t forget to use your weaknesses as creative tools you have a shitty camera BOOM now all your videos are in the style of VHS tape Do you have terrible, audio quality? BOOM utilize that terrible audio quality to make sound boom jokes Do you have bad lighting? NOW all your videos of a dark, mysterious mood. You don’t have a space to record BOOM. Now you can do voiceover’s in your car. (this last one is shitty but everybody has done this do (fake) Cash App giveaways Just make a fake winners or use family members for being honest person, and actually do raffles! Pick your poison but this will also boost those comments and video attention because they’re taking all their time, typing a comment and their cash tag 🎉

So quick question Erin, which platforms do you believe or think that brands are on the most? Looking for creators to collaborate with. I ask this question because I feel led to create and post more on KZfaq. But my dream is to someday collaborate with different brands or gain PR. Do brands be on KZfaq looking nowadays? Or do I just need to post on TikTOK, IG etc. lol 😂

You better be on all platforms 😂. You never know where they will see you. Trust me. Just have a schedule to post weekly on all platforms. I don't buy the daily and thrice a week posts. My mental health is important to me. I do one short and one long form weekly for now. I didn't post for months and it affected my channel. But I know that slow but steady wins the race in the long run.

Right off the bat, I find it is all clickbait these days. Clickbait images, clickbait titles and it should not be allowed. I've been put off of so many channels by this tactic. I've been making videos for almost, four years now, and getting absolutely, nowhere with it, no matter WHAT, I upload. I don't lie or use clickbait tactics, nor do I beg people to like my videos either. If I have to use clickbait tactics I guess, the channel will never grow, and I feel if the material is good enough then people will like without being asked. One would think, anyway. PS: I'm an older individual, I turned 59 about a week and a half ago, and I'm convinced there is a great deal of age discrimination over KZfaq as well, which I feel is putrid, honestly. No one stays young forever. I'm not seeing tons of content creators my age or older, and I sort of, see why, but this only, reinforces why I SHOULD, be doing it actually, as you are never, ever, passed it until you are actually, DEAD, OK? Give older creators a chance guys, please. Thank You. Out.

My question is, would you say that a KZfaqr MUST put their photo in the thumbnail? Because, some KZfaqrs want to remain anonymous, at least with things like that. Not everyone wants their image out there. Plus, some channels might want to put more focus on their content rather than the person who is posting their content. But most people say, yes, we HAVE to put our photo in the thumbnail, as if it's mandatory / required. As if to say, either put your photo or don't do KZfaq. So, I wonder what YOU think about that, Erin. Folks say it helps to have a photo, but is it really all that necessary, to the point where it's basically required to have one? And then, what would you say are the reasons our photo helps? And with that, shouldn't we also put our photo as our profile pic, too, if we're going to put it in every thumbnail? We may as well. We also may as well show our face in every video, if we're using that logic. What do you think, Erin?
