Here in Georgia (I mean a country not the state of USA😁) When a child loses their loose tooth they throw it on the roof of their house and say:"mouse! take my bad tooth and give me your good tooth". Because mouses have really strong teeth, but it was more common earlier and it is more common in villages right now because no one throws their tooth in a city where there is much more amount of buildings than private houses.😂😂🤣

🇱🇰 I am Sri Lankan. In our country, when a child loses a tooth, the elders tell him to throw that tooth on the roof. Then he shouted loudly, "Squirrel , please give me a new tooth." That is our tradition. Thank you, you are a good teacher.

Thank you Vanessa! My biggest pet peeve in modern speech is people getting the two verbs seen and done wrong! They are not “stand-alone” verbs! They each must have a “helping” verb! Such as: I have seen the other side! Or, I saw the other side! I have done my homework! Not: I done my homework! See what I’m saying? Seen and done both have to have a helping verb! They’re not stand-alone verbs! My mother was a newspaper journalist when I was growing up, so I was always corrected about my grammar!! How an English teacher allows students to pass English with improper speaking skills is beyond me!!!
