From what I've heard the Rav4 hybrids stop start works better because the engine won't start up until the vehicle is a minimum speed, and the MG1 motor starts the engine smoothly because that big magnet is already spinning very fast.

Good video! We love our 2021 RAV4. I agree on the Auto start/stop, but after being a mechanic for 40 years and don't think it will cause any more problems for your bearings than a normal start. I'm half deaf so I don't really notice the wind noise. My wife does but she always has the tunes on. We both love the seats, but I'm 6'2 and they fit me fine. Haven't noticed any problems with shifter, it's just stiff. Don't know about the rear bumper cover, but it is just plastic.

#6 The power window buttons on the doors do not illuminate. #7 The Loud engine.

I recently installed a Draw-Tite 76201 trailer hitch on my 2020 RAV4 Hybrid and was really surprised by how flimsy the bottom of the rear bumper was. It’s one of my dislikes also. I think the hitch will help stabilize it. I’m enjoying your videos on the RAV4 and the accessories you’ve installed or tested. Thank you.

Hey I so agree with you on the engine stop feature. The only way to avoid it is to not press the break all the way down which I try to do all the time. I just got a 2021 XLE Premium 2 weeks aga . Wind noise is not bad on mines and I have the cross bar roof rails and one thing I hate about it is it comes right over my sunroof/moonroof so everytime I open the shade I see crossbar lol 😆

Can you please do a video showing how to change the headlight bulbs on the 2021 rav4. I feel like it a little more difficult than other headlights ibhave changed in the past.

You can’t, it’s a sealed piece!! Only one you can replace is turn signal and quarter light, but if you have the hybrid yes you can replace the bulb

@@BulletSolano Damn. My heart is hurt. They suck bro!!.. But I did follow your advice for the fog light. I found 120w fog led lights on amazon so its not that bad anymore.. Great vids keep up the good work...

Hey in regards to the Engine stop (#2 on your video). You can get a module on aliexpress and whenever you start your car it will deactivate for you. The only issue is that I installed a third party remote starter ob my car, so if I use the remote starter and then when I get in the car turns off and start my vehicle it doesnt turn off the STOP option, you have to wait about 5 minutes with engine off for the module to work again.

I have a 2020 and what I dislike most is you have built in tire sensors and the only way to view your pressure is to pay for their app there is no dash display unless you buy a third party 40$ device that installs inside one of the car panels

The big trouble for me is the wind noise, and the dealer say that the vehicle don't have trouble,and the National Toyota say that your eyes are the dealer, if the dealer say is good we don't have where to claim.The dealer only want to sale.

Respecto a los asientos. Queria cambiar mi RAV4 2019 Hibrida por una Siena 2022 Hib pero los asientos me decepcionaron. Ya no son asientos son bancas. Son cortos mal forrados en la versión plasti-piel y muy duros. No son nada cómodos para un viaje de más de tres horas. Lo mismo con el Camry 2022 Hib Mal por Toyota. También ya he cambiado dos veces el resorte de la tapa de tanque se combustible.

I guess I am lucky. I bought a 2021 XLE two weeks ago and I seriously don't think the auto/stop start is working. I would do like you and shut it off and experimented with it on and never heard or felt the engine stop or start up with it on. Anyone else experience this too?

If you have the rav on sport mode I think it disabled the star/stop function, other then that when you just started the car is not gonna work, you need to give it some time to work

@@BulletSolano I drive in Normal mode and the auto stop/start is On and doesn't shut the engine down. Very odd, I don't care cuz i hated that feature in my Malibu and wasn't able to disable it either.

Bullet, disconnect the hood latch sensor and it will disable start/stop. I've done this and it works. There's a picture of the exact connection on the forum: From RAV4 forum: This is how I dis abled the stop/start system. I disconnected this part beside the hood latch and wrapped it with electrical tape for some protection, it disabled the stop/start system without showing the lighted icon on the dashboard. Turned off the notification as well on the settings. No complaints and functionality errors with other system so far for almost a month on a daily use.

I have a rav 4 and I hate it I have an le I hate it so damn bad and I wanted the one you have but after tons of research I want to get ride of rav and go with something else all together to bad 9 just got it so I can't get ride of it

Can’t be that bad, if you go somewhere else on the long term is gonna be a bad investment, but if you change cars every few years it’s ok
