Excellent video, and totally agree. I have the RS3, while I did consider the RS7 I have the same problem of it being just too big as a daily in a city. The understated appearance is something Audi do quite well - the RS cars are not for the racetrack, but for everyday usability and for that you don't want something to scream 'sports car'. It's a nice balance of sport and practicality, along with excellent safety in different driving conditions (tyres and driver skill permitting). For me, the RS cars are not about the speed but the whole package. It does everything well, rather than being a 1 trick pony. Credit where credit is due. the Focus RS is a great car, but it's more set-up for driver thrill and doesn't have the luxury feel/interior of the Audi. Although many are quick to criticise Audi for understeer, it's worth remembering that understeer is safer than oversteer for less experienced drivers and Audi tend to sway more to safety than a thrilling driver experience. It is possible, if you are a lunatic to get the RS cars to oversteer by more aggressive input (harder, later braking, lock on) with TC off (which breaks traction on the wheels to get the backend to slide) but as typical with 4wd soon as you apply power down again, it will attempt to dart right ahead, but can be used to your advantage in limit driving as you line up for exit. Anyway, it's mostly irrelevant on public roads as you'd probably end up with a driving ban if caught.... so this leads me on to say - the reason I enjoy the RS3 is because it's a nice place to be, with a nice sporty balance that you can enjoy all the time, everyday, without getting the blues and twos behind you for 'drifting' and 'speeding'. :-) Have fun and glad to see you are enjoying the RS3. If you do go for an RS6 in the future you're in for a real treat. The RS6 performance is absolutely one of the most impressive all-rounding cars, in my opinion.

love the rs3👍 have a s3 myself and i love how anonymous it is. My s3 has 310 bhp and thats indeed more than you need and people that say that you can't afford a rs6 are probably driving there mums fiesta.

Good video ... RS3 is great, but I think I'd like mine a bit more obviously a step above a 2.0TDi .... maybe a brighter colour and tints .... I love having tints in London, keeps prying eyes off the back seat clutter, or staring at the kids ...
