After the success of my first video on the rites I decided I should make a more indepth version of the specifics of each movement. This is 2500-year-old Tibetan movement practice that is considered to be 'the fountain of youth'. (If you're wondering I'm 40 years old, and yes I still practise some form of this!)
Check out this 5 move sequence that is said to boost energy levels, aid in mobility, strength and might even make you live longer! This is the foundation of youth, the 5 Tibetan Rites.

Doing the Rites every single day since Oct 1 2021! I am now 65 years old and love being able to jump up from the floor. Thank you for your teachings.

Thank you for this video so much! I am 71 and I used to do the 5 Tibetan Rites maybe 10 years ago. I jumped up and tried to do them with you here and now, and I can see that I need to practice. The one that is, the hardest is the first one. Dizziness is an issue for me, so I will start slow and see how, I can build it up. Meanwhile, I will do all the others and I appreciate this. May you be happy.

After I did this for 4 weeks, I noticed arm strength returning and I'd regained the ability to crack my neck again because it was loosened up again!

Thank you Chase for sharing this valuable set of exercises, I believe when practiced consistently, as you said, it is a powerful means of transformation. For anyone looking for more information on this series, I would like to mention Christopher S. Kilham’s book, “The Five Tibetans.” Finally, it seems there are variations of the these exercises practiced, in my experience they are minor and do not really affect its effectiveness. Though as you correctly pointed out, the head movement on the second rite is very important to protect the lower back. Thanks again!

Thank you Chase for all the effort you are putting to put awareness on not just the hiking part of our journey, but also the body and soul. My wife and I will be doing a 3 day loop in Parque Natural Valles Occidentales for the first time (new to backpacking) and all your info and wisdom has come in very handy to prepare us. I believe we have a good gear list put together. I would like to ask your opinion on supplements. on your shorter 3-5 day hikes, what supplements do you focus on? I did some research and these are the supplements I am planning to take: Turmeric; Probiotics; Magnesium; Zinc+Copper; Vit C. I worry that I am over thinking this as most people do entering a new activity? Hope to bump into you in the Pyrenees one day! Regards from Madeira Island

There is no "2500-year-old" 5 Tibetan rites. This is a western creation based on Hatha Yoga. Please, don't buy everything that is sold as the fountain of youth.

Aren't there supposed to be resting breaths between reps, and then standing resting breaths, hands on hips, between rites?

@ravenravella.. With this series of exercises small variations exist. The rites still work.. Do the version that feels best to you.. For additional background information search some other vids here, and there are also a couple short books out there (one by Keller, & one by Kilham).. 🙏🕉

Hi Chase. Nice presentation. I've been practising this for some months now, but I have always been under the impression that with the double crunch, the crunch is done on inhalation, the aim being to compress the digestive system. Is the Dog at 4.12 on your Elements Programme? I think he needs some personal coaching to smooth his technique.🤣

Hi Chase, unrelated to this video but next Thursday i'm heading to the Pyrenees for an expedition with my school (i'm 17) for 4 days and for some of it we will be hiking along the GR10. I'm already pretty fit as I run a lot but i was just wondering if you had any last minute tips for the hike as i've never been anywhere like this before? ps love all of the stretching and knee strengthening videos :))
