Thanks Jose & Christen. For braving the Hurricane / Tropical storm to show us the beach house you rented. It looks like you guy's still had a great time in Progreso. I see you can still wear a vest in the warm, windy, rainy weather. In Canada where I live, that kind of storm would be freezing cold rain & snow. That's why "I gota get outa this place, if it's the last thing I ever do" As the song goes, and move to Merida! 🥰

Tropical storms and/or hurricanes are always such a potential adventure! Belize also cuts power when there is a severe storm threat (just in case). Fun times!

Hi Jose, you just answered me on another vid lol, today is dec 5 cold in Canada :( skipping Mexico trip this winter due to pandemic :( I can’t wait. To go there! Is it cheaper to Airbnb or rent a villa as apposed to resorts? We usually go for a week and spend 3. K food and booze plus transportation in, ocean view. This is new to us we must start exploring more.., we have a pup too we would take 🐩😉💜

It all depends on what you can find! Sometimes resorts are cheaper sometimes renting an AirBnb. But you need to research that on your own and see what is available to you. Good luck!

Thank you I identify with you And your honesty when sharing your thoughts and feelings. I like all your videos ,, especially the one when you talk about the freedom you felt when you got your feet on the soil there . The freedom to be who you are . Being free for the first time in your life . I've lived in San Miguel de Allende and Ajijic on budgets and visited Cuernavaca and Oaxaca City and Guadalajara . . I'm up here in gringoland now waiting for a vaccine shot ,then I'm going back . Maybe we will cross paths someday . But it would have to be in December , January or February because I can't handle the heat or humidity . Hi! You ended up paying him $75, he asked for $50 but how much would it have been total if your trip wasn't cut short? BTW I love gizmo! how long have you guys had him for?

Actually he only took $55 so that was my total cost of the trip. If it was not cancelled it would have been $175 for 4 days / 3 nights. Gizmo has been with me wince I met Christian. But he has been with Christian since he was a puppy 😎
