50 Cent contributed to the orphanage where Raya grew up, and she finally gets the chance to thank him in person.
DREAM SCHOOL: NYC - Producers Curtis 50 Cent Jackson, Jamie Oliver, and Chuck D head east with a new class! Troubled high school dropouts are followed on their journey for a second chance as they become students to a series of celebrity teachers.
Be a part of what The New Yorker calls "The new go-to network for artistic risk."

The way he was intently looking at her when she first came into the room, approached him, and sat down next to him said a whole lot before he even muttered a single word. Also it's because he simply understands this girl's struggles and where she comes from therefore he didn't come flossing I always admired him and still do and will forever because it's one thing to be successful person with money but it's another when you are humbled like 50 Cent is and in his case you can't even say that he was raised the right way because he grew up with no parents he did not break from what life threw at him and that's admiring

This is so beautiful what Curtis "50 Cents" continues to do, and I love this story. A truly caring man, who came from turbulent beginnings, continues to demonstrate concern and care by personally helping others. People often talk about people from turbulent backgrounds but I have seen so many from them turn away from tragic cycles to a more humanitarian way of life. They engage with those in need, give, share and care while doing so. There is NO need for the hypocritical liars that learned how to fake sincerity but "present-well," because those types don't posses good genuine Spirit. I prefer those that are truly caring and authentic ,even as they evolve, because they are absolutely making a difference and they are a reflection of "how you can start one way and evolve in such a beautiful way." GOD BLESS & MUCH LOVE Rosie

I feel where you're coming from but that is what sells. If it were not for him telling us about life from his perspective, he would not have had all the money he has. Without that money he wouldn't have been able to support such initiatives. Also, with people relaying the type of lives they used to live through music and film, some people would have not been able to gain role models that would inspire them to be better and uplift themselves from the same conditions they see that their heroes used to live. There is a good and a bright side to both.
