@@Road2Med I have won three of my matches for sub battles prior to this sub battle. Two of them were 3|0 time format and one was during the puzzle rush sub battle. Then it so happens I get destroyed for three games back to back in one sub battle. But I will definitely keep trying to improve.

The way he did it was fucking disgusting too. He kept making move in under 1 second. Zero thinking, zero analyzing the position...with minutes on the clock. Then he resigns.

Was it though? I am 650 and i play the same way or better. I could see the moves on the board before he played them, difference was that he didn't take advantage of the Discovery attacks like i would It looked like he was just flexing without actually knowing what he was doing (his Knight moves show that). But he played better than his opponent that's for sure. Not hating, just stating something.

@@the_real_cookiez Nah Aman is definitely uniquely good at it. Probably because he did a lot of low-level teaching so he knows the common errors. Other GMs who only make high-level content have no idea behind the motivations of us scrubs.

1:20:51 seems like black can still move the bishop out (say, to f5) in this position though clueless ninja's endgame technique, while not perfect, was quite good! Or rather, the opponent played badly :p spicy's attacking skill was amazing!

When it comes to soccer games between clubs, the home club has regions where their fans go, and the away club goes to the opposite sector of a stadium. There has been many fights and deaths in soccer stadiums through history. One of the most violent soocer events today are games between Red Star Belgrade and Partizan Belgrade. Red Star fans are always on the Northern side of the stadium and Partizan fans are always on the Southern side of the stadium. Then they meet somewhere in the middle and fight with each other, sometimes with bear hands but most of the time with the help of chairs, knives, flares, fireworks. If you go to one of these games and you buy a ticket for the wrong part of the stadium you risk spending that night in a hospital

Why did the first game feel abnormal, even though white lost, they both outperformed their ratings, felt like they might have secondary accounts. Play seemed on the level of 1100s.

they didn't outplay their ratings that much, those were pretty basic tactics and didn't do too much anyways. even if they were outplaying their rating they were still playing at a level that an 800 could play

i do have higher ratings in rapid and puzzles but i have more trouble in the lower time controls. i actually spent some time practicing the scandi in 2+1 to specifically prepare for this sub battle league. couple that with my opponents low t opening, and all these fully formed ideas just started coming to me
