Жыл бұрынHere's an old 1907 Carcano service rifle, but it's troublesome because the spent cases don't extract when the bolt is pulled back. It's a pretty niche item, and unlikely that spare parts are easily available to us, so we are stuck with fixing what we have. Follow us on the journey to fixing it up, with the overriding thought the whole way through that there's only one shot at this, between functional historic firearm and expensive paperweight.

Nice save on the extractor. If you fed the cartridges into the chamber and closed the bolt it would be very difficult to close the bolt and chances are you'd bend the extractor like it was before you fixed it. I went to the range without a clip and fed the cartridges into the chamber and tried to close the bolt and I had to hammer the bolt closed with my hand. I'd bet if I did that a few times my extractor would be like your bent one. Thanks for the video on removing the bolt from the bolt body. Very easy to understand. When I had to pound the bolt closed I was worried that I'd have to remove it. Again, thanks for the video.
