The Montana Mountain loop consists of 3 separate trails. Starting from the west, Hewitt Canyon Road will take you most of the way to the top, where it meets up with Roger's Trough, and finally connects to Happy Camp trail. Roughly 30 miles from start to finish, should take you roughly 3-5 hours depending on a few factors. All trails are rated easy to intermediate, with Happy Camp being the hardest, especially when you hit the switchbacks on the way back down to the desert floor.
