When you go in for head work get everything else done too. Save the labor, up pipes dummy plugs and updated HPOP

I didn't go to the new style hpop or oil rails. I do wish I was able to update to the newer oil rails. I actually prefer the older style pumps though. You're right while getting all this done update everything. I'll have a full list of everything I did coming soon

Great video There is alot of bonehead haters w professional options One failure point I've experienced is injector oring failure One from a shop the other from nipple oring failure One next upgrade is HHC nipple oring kit Looks to be 99.99% never fail design upgrade design from factory

I have a under hood gauge for now 58-60 psi starting but not sure under load Insight monitor is on list of upgrades I have used scangauge 2 for 13 yrs

That's crazy you're having o ring issues as normally it's when your psi is like 80 they start going. Could just be they are getting older now too

@@six0bros nipple cup oring failure in my case allowed hp oil to eat away injector oring and agree oring was old and not top notch injector set to start HHC addresses blowby w a deflector built into nipple

I owned a 2006 F-250 for about 7 months...only issue I had was the FICM...replaced under warranty. I love that Ford offers 2-ton paint. I had a white/tan Lariat. They all brake! Some more than others. They all have their quirks.

100% true..I've had most aside from head gasket issues...even after 15k in repair I wouldn't swap my truck for another..

They really are great trucks. The headgaskets are a pain but overall loves these trucks

6.0's are sooooooooo good if you're not a dummy. Little bit of research, couple mods, and they last forever. Mines got 387,000km, straight piped, Welded egr, welded intake manifold coolant passages shut and rerouted the coolant when the egr started to leak. Drive it like a raped ape. Currently doing stand pipes and dummy plug o-rings because I got a long crank start when hot but fires right up when cold. cheers man!

@seven You must have resolved hot no start I've had injector oring cause issues 2x I've had an 03 and currently drive a early 04 so no standpipe issues

I love my early 04 but I do wish I had the later style oil rails even though they are more problematic. They idle super smooth

Just took a road trip in mine. Just rolled over 198,000 miles. TROUBLE FREE!!! Studded, deleted, straight piped, tuned, KC Stage 2 turbo. ZERO ISSUES! Y’all want to talk shit about something go to the 6.4!

Seriously or how dodge still has transmission issues after 20 plus years. Duramax heargaskets now they are making up issues on the 6.0 lol

Another problem is the engine heat on the ficm I went thru two cause of too much heat on them .

Definitely more heat than is good but I feel weak batteries and the vibration directly from the engine is worse. Regardless bad location, but manageable

The major problem with the 6.0l is some guys get new motors and all kinds of cool parts for it and then you never see it or hear anything about it ever again.... jk so how's it coming? Any updates?

just replaced oil cooler on my 6.0 has 200,000 not a super hard job wish would had some upgrades while doing it but oh well.

It's not a bad job. A little time consuming but not bad. Torn my truck apart for videos way to many times now I can have everything apart in about 2 hours on the truck

Oh yeah they are ment to be easy to take a part. I would rather work on a 6.0 over any other diesel. Although 7.3s look easy to do too
