Might need some engine maintenance. Had been sitting over night, no engine heater was used.

I had a 1990 model 6.2 when I lived in Alaska, I started it once at -47 F. I won't mention wrapping the engine with an electric blanket, having a percolator style block heater, battery blankets and oh, yeah, a blower heater blowing up under it. Drove it out of the mountains that day, the engine never warmed up until we came down to lower elevations even though the whole from of the truck was covered. It is only a fond memory because it was 30 years ago.

Lets just put an exhaust pipe right next to where you put fuel in.... Makes sense.

What's the issue you could pour diesel all over that exhaust after a day of driving and it won't light
@brad8179

The fuel is further down anyways.. I'd fill that thing up running it won't hurt anything you can barely light diesel with a lighter

@@brad8179 yah exactly you could put the nosel in the exhaust and fill it and it would just squirt out and would never ignite you can't start a fire with diesel half the time it needs compression to ignite

Smart not revving it up with the cold crankcase oil I've seen a lot of dumb asses do that best to let the diesel engine lope along until she gets a little warm
