I'm not paying $5K for a brushless Ultrex. My current Ultrex is juuuust fine. I'll also never buy a Power Pole Move.

@@MyChaoticFishing The market didnt determine $5k was the price lmao. Garmin force and Lowance ghost are $3,600. Power Pole are out of their minds thinking their first generation of trolling motors is worth $5k. I see minn kota entering the market at around $3,700-4k

@@camdenhurst3729 that would be cool, but aside from either of our opinions, the market (people spending money) has shown power pole that they’ll buy up every available one at $5k so 🤷♂️

@@LucasBassFishing fishing technology in general is behind the times. Additionally, each release is throttled. They may already have something way better but if they can sell us 15 versions in between, we’ll have to wait. And by then, it too will be behind the times.

I suppose, this is how technology usually is... look at Apple, they do the same thing taking forever sometimes to release software that android has had already for years, but, when they do release it usually its polished. What specifically are you looking for in technology in your trolling motor that'll make you feel its with the times?@@MyChaoticFishing

Only a fool or someone in the top 5% of earners will pay over 2k for a trolling motor. Fishing is supposed to be an accessible sport for the common man. Not to mention, the warranties on trolling motors is a joke

Top 5% of earners, ay? Funny stuff. I'm far from the "top 5%" & I own an Ultrex, with SI & iPilot... it just isn't that hard to do.

It still is an accessible sport. Walk to lake, throw out Ugly Stick, catch fish... it really is that easy. You do not need an Ultrex.
