Hey mate, couple of things, audio was left channel only for a lot of video, stereo at 30 minutes, fell back to left soon after. The fuel lift pump, it's a Carter and you have it upside down. There is an arrow on it for a reason. The cable sizes, for batteries in rear and big starters, 0-AWG would be on the positive and same for the negative till at least the chassis bond then 1 or 2-AWG from there. Go to starter post then from the starter, use 4-AWG at least. Don't fall for BS claims of welding cable currents. Love the very valid reasoning for the snorkel sides, no LC love here.

Donut of course we're pleased to have ya back whether its cars quads or boats, the folks that watch you and dad are like minded of all backgrounds and interests. Basically we love it the good and bad events, you keep it real with all the struggles along this journey that you bravely and entertainingly share with us. PS are there no restrictions in Aus regards noise level on the road with that straight through without the muffler, just I noticed you plugging your ears on the dyno. Good luck mate KR🇬🇧🇬🇼

Thanks mate i appreciate the kind words. Yeah we do have noise level restrictions here, I believe they are 90db but I haven't measured it yet. Being on the dyno is different, it's more the tire noise that gets you and the fact that it's all inside a tin shed make it really loud when doing a run.

Great build video. Was great to see the power & torque figures that actually make it to the ground. As a 6.5 owner in a patrol myself. I have always been curious as too how much torque ( in particular ), these things put to the ground. Well done 👍

Thanks mate, from the little I have driven it so far and the dyno graph I can say they put down shit loads of torque but it's all way down low in the rpm. To put it in comparison we started my dyno pull from 40kph in 4 gear. At 50kph I was making 400nm torque. A normal late model dual cab ute the run starts at 80kph and won't make that much torque until well over 120kph. I think most of the issues people have when doing the 6.5 swap is not doing the diff gear ratio change to keep the engine in the happy rev range. I have 3.9:1 now but feel that 3.5:1 would be the best for the torque range for the engine

What a Beast... I want one. 😮😅 Great job mate. 😂 I would just run air filter back across to passenger side as plenty room back of Radiator. 😮 Set it up with quick disconnects either side of Radiator. Save a lot mucking about.😂 A bit of jiggery pokey to get her failed in😮. Excellent job on the go fast bonnet scoop. Great channel ya no bullshit sorta guy tell it like it is. Keep at it lad.😅

Sorry for the lateness but I've been saving this one. Anyway a couple of questions for you, is the snorkel now redundant, will you be making a rock guard for the fuel tank, as it appears to be in more of a vulnerable position now that it's under the seating area. Other than that great work and just those little jobs to go but take forever to do. 😅. Laters Gary 🇬🇧🇬🇧

The black snorkel is no longer going to be used and will come off. I will be making a new one for the drivers side. The tank is rather thick steel so should hold up okay for the type of driving I intend doing

Do you not have a waste gate? I put a mechanical 6.5 rattler in my 63 Chevy K-10 with an HX35 & a gate about 25yrs ago. It still runs good but I've been threatening to swap it out for the spare LMM Duramax I have.

No I don't have an external gate at all. If I can't control the max boost with changing the exhaust housing and possibly lowering the fuel I will have to make one fit somewhere
