6 Days of searching in the Scottish Highlands, Day 1

Day 1 see's us at Clashgour Hut, close to Bridge of Orchy, Scotland
The aim is to use it as a base camp so we can search the Loch Dochard area for missing hiker Neil Skinner
The weather forecast for the coming days is wet, wet, and more wet

Great little hut Bill with beers and dry wood waiting for you. Result as was the nice weather the next day. Good to know you're still out searching despite not having a plan. hey, we can be aimless if we want. All the best with bagging that Munro. All the best as always. Mark

Thanks Mike. Yep there are four missing in the Scottish Highlands that I know about at present. You don't realise how dangerous it can be until you here some are missing from what people would call relatively safe areas. Beer tasted lovely, more so because it had been left for me 👌 Atb Bill.

Hope you are successful in finding some sort of something. After the severe floods here the other day, there are 4 still missing...helicopters have been overhead for the last couple of days and this morning in particular. Keep yourself safe! Bruce and Otis

Clashgour hut was the school at one time. Not many pupils I suspect.

I know, crazy when you think about it, but it served its purpose well so I have heard. And the kids of today moan about walking to the bus stop, imagine fighting your way to this little hut in winter weather or fighting off the midges in summer lol
