Hello Mel. Everything looked Delicious per usual. I love making Slider's and My Grandbabies love to help Nana cook them. It's such a wonderful Blessing to let My Sweet Grandchildren help me cook. We always have a great time.. and I think that it's important to teach them cooking skills.. I always did with my 5 Children while they were growing up too.. making fond memories is so Special.. Mrs. Mel, you should try taking those little sweet peppers, cut in strips, and onion cut in strips. Sauté them in butter with some salt & garlic. Then put can chicken in with it. Take one burrito size tortilla. Put some of the mixture on half of it. Add cheese and salsa. Flip the other half of the tortilla over the top. Cook it in some butter, and viola'. You have the best fajita quesadilla. 👌🏻♥️

I lived in Portugal for 13yrs while in the military and fell in love with eating Tapas. After the 1st 3-5yrs I stopped eating regular 3 course meals and hardly ever made a “traditional” meal. I just started enjoying having small plates and never stopped🤷🏽Right now a sliced apple, cheddar cheese chunks, rolled Tavern ham and French bread is on my plate and I wouldn’t want anything else! This episode devoted to smaller meals is appreciated!

❤️ I can really relate to this. I have so much to do and sometimes it gets too late to start a "regular" supper (that I had planned for the menu that week), and I'm just too tired. I used to keep a couple pre-made things in the freezer for a day like that, but I'm being extra-frugal and so I've been staying away from those useful things like deli meats, frozen foods like chicken nuggets and strips, pizza. But your ideas are so great and sometimes the saved time is more important than being frugal. I almost always cook everything from scratch, including baking bread, etc. but it sure is helpful to keep a few time-savers in the freezer for those days when you just don't have time or want to make a full supper. 😊

You are always a delight and a blessing! It's been a rough time here lately, truck will only run in 2nd gear, some logging firm dropped a tree right on our gravity-fed spring water source and we had no water (aside from what we had in the basement for emergencies) my dear aunt has cancer again and I've needed to support her, as well as another friend really going through a rough patch. She is a complete shut-in, so I've really made extra time to talk to her, write her and such, as she lives far from us. The work around here is endless, we have two hens broody and that throws things amuck for sure. I've had some health things, my husband wrenched his back for a couple of days, and the washing machine broke! However, God is good, we've gotten our water restored, my sweet husband's back is feeling better. In fact, he put up more firewood today. While that funky, old truck only runs in 2nd gear, she still goes up the hillside and into the forest to bring our firewood back for us to dry in the sun. We were blessed with a new (to us) washing machine, a friend that I often cook for, loaned his truck so we could pick it up. During this time, now and again, I'd watch a KZfaq video of yours and felt so comforted. Thank you for that. You are so special.

Give it all to God! Lot going on with you and Yours! We had a tragedy the other day in my family. We have all started to feel better. We learned something really bad today again, we are giving it to God! Do the best you can and Give it to God! My 92 year old Dad is the patriarch behind God’s Love. He goes to church everyday if he can make it.

Oh my goodness friend, you are a testimony to the fact that God doesn't promise us it will be easy but He does promise us He will be with us. Thru all the things you have had happening you still served and looked to put others first. That's what He calls us all to do and your faithfulness is such a sweet example and glimpse into you heart. He is making a way to take care of all these problems, continue to trust Him and serve. YOU have encouraged me so much tonight! We all need to have a attitude of gratitude like you friend. ❤️ She's always been the one that was stuck right to my side from the beginning of time 🤣 She has always enjoyed being at home with me whether it's in the kitchen (that was always her favorite) or folding clothes just whatever she's always liked to be with me. She's 18 years old now but I swear she likes to be with me and my friends more than young adults her age. Invite her to a pool party she will pass, but ask her to serve food after a funeral, deliver meals to our shut ins, write out cards or decorate the church for VBS with the women my age - she'll be there! 🤣

I'm adding the meals to my list when I go grocery shopping again and since we are burned out on pizza I will make breakfast stuffed biscuits with bacon, egg, cheese with asparagus on the side. I love your simplicity on meals no complications.

Man! I love your videos. I forget about Sliders. We love those but I haven't made them for months. That chicken and potato bowls looked great too. I'm going to do that this week. We love making bbq nachos with out leftover butt last time I made bbq taquitos and they were a huge hit we dipped them in avocado ranch it was so good.

It’s so hard to cut those rolls evenly. I always have trouble. 😂 everything looked so delicious! I think snacky dinners are so nice. I absolutely love doing those KFC bowls at home. So good! I will have to look for those chicken chunks. Everything looked so good!

Funny you mentioned sloppy Joe's! I had some leftover sloppy Joe meat leftover I needed to use up but I didn't want to do a basic sloppy Joe on buns so I made a grilled cheese using the filling with American, mozzarella & sharp cheddar and gosh was it so Good! Everything in today's videos looked amazing as usual

OMGGGGG sticky fingers bbq sauce, we get that here in KS. We heard about it on Food Network about 10 years if that & found it here & OMG we love that sauce. So yummy! Have you ever had (if you can find it) Cattleman's bbq sauce? So good, I love it when I can find it. It used to be so well known here in KS while I was growing up, I can hardly find it now, & when I do I will buy them out. Also have you ever made your own bbq pizza? We do with frozen cheese pizza & then use the Lloyds bbq chick/beef/pork/tukey when its on sale, add it to the pizza & bake it up & we love it.

Everything sure looked good! Snacky dinners are always fun. My husband and I have been enjoying charcuterie boards since it’s been hot. They aren’t Pinterest charcuterie boards…. Just everything we want slapped on a cutting board!😂 Hope you have a great week!!❤

We really like snacky dinners especially in the summertime. This year we don't but usually we have a garden going on and I'll make just about any kind of heavy appetizer or make them a little bigger and have that with whatever salad stuff we have coming out of the garden whether it just be a marinated salad or a pasta salad or a big huge lettuce salad with lots of tomatoes and cucumber and stuff on it. I think an Italian quesadilla would have gone really good too with some of your ground meat and some of your pasta sauce maybe some onions and peppers and what have you on there mushrooms I don't know if you like mushrooms or not I'm stack that on there I think I would have mixed the sauce with the hamburger meat and made it like meat sauce and use that for a layer lots of good cheese on that. I like the idea of those biscuit pizzas I've seen those often but I've never actually done them for the six of us I think it would take way too many so it's easier just to make pizza. Unless I did it in the Summer with the big salads. I like these ideas
