In this video Kristi & Merrill share 6 lessons they learned after completing the "75 Hard Challenge". This challenge was created by Andy Frisella who is an entrepreneur, author, and host of the "MFCEO" podcast. To complete the "75 Hard" challenge, you must do the following for 75 days straight:
1. Exercise twice each day for 45 minutes - it doesn’t matter what the exercise is but one of these sessions must to be outdoors.
2. Drink 1 gallon of water per day.
3. Pick a diet or eating plan and stick to that plan. You don’t necessarily have to count calories but be intelligent - no chocolates, no cake, no soft drinks, and NO ALCOHOL!
4. Read a minimum of 10 pages every day of growth mindset material or self-help book. No fifty shades of grey content! stick to real life material to work on your mindset.
5. Take one progress photo each day - even though this is more of a mental challenge, the byproduct will be a physical change at the end of the 75 days.

Congratulations! I'm on day 41 and love to hear what you two have gotten out of it. I'm surprised that I actually don't crave sugar now that its out of my system. Kristi, I can totally relate to the limiting belief! I never thought I could stick to at diet 100% without any alcohol but I'm used to it now. I went on vacation in the middle of this too and was surprised I could stick to this because it is a priority.

Mentally preparing for a vacation is crucial. Recently I was on my 3rd 75 hard and I was in Dallas I was able to stick to it but it took planning on many levels.

We have done it 2 more times but failed both times around day 40. What we do stay up to date on is the daily walk that is the one habit that we really liked and have stuck with. The water is also still really important to us.

Man. I work 12-16 hours shifts. There's no way I can do 2 workouts a day tho. However my job can be labor intensive.

I work 12 hrs a day and I'm in the middle of 75 hard right now. You can do it!

It was just part of our routine! It's not part of the challenge.

Good job except for the vegan part. You need to listen to differing opinions on it not from me but from professionals and scientists like Robb Wolf, Paul Saladino, Mark Sisson, The Weston A Price foundation, Vilhjalmur Stefansson, Chris Kresser. Animal protein is essential to human optimal nutrition. Vegans can not get adequate nutrition without supplementation. Cheers. I hope you consider and have great success.

So you're saying vegans CAN get adequate nutrition with supplements. Great, vegan is the way to go then. No point slaughtering animals if you don't need to.
