Damn, dude. This is 🔥🔥🔥. The stories. My husband died from covid in 2021 and I’ve been fighting my way back from grief, illness and financial ruin. But that’s a story, isn’t it?!! Ed this amazing to see this video. One of major problem I have seen is people having fear and don’t know it. Sometimes our excuses are fear result not actually the excuses itself but the fear that prompted them. One thing I have come to know is that fear is a lie we tell ourselves.

The thing that sticks out to me is shifting from what it's going to cost to what it's worth 💙

I needed to hear this today. I almost lost my father about two months ago. He and I had some deep conversations because he felt like he was going to leave this world. One told me that I worry to much. The other after I explained to him why I have not gotten married or not having partner at this point in my life he said to me that I am great guy. I said to him I wished I heard that 30 years ago. I had not emotion during the conversations and I could not figure out why. Two weeks ago I was having a business meeting with a soon to be a new person that is going to join my company. She said to me that I was brave and I could not be scared. Right now I realize I have been holding on to this fear of being vulnerable and getting hurt again. I used the excuse of building my company to protect me.

Thank you for sharing Ed. The first page of one of my leather bound journals I wrote. Let great people shape your life. Find yourself trying to imitate those who you most admire. The next best thing to be truly great is to emulate the great. Try to act like them, be like them, and feel like them. Follow the habit of reshaping your character by imitating the people whose lives and life’s work who has been most impressive to you. Have an imaginary council members to rebuild your own character so it would become a composite of your character. I think I got this from Patrick. But many years ago, I wrote this down. My imaginary council is King Louis XIV, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Jay Gatsby, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Leonardo DiCaprio, Achilles, Rich Thawley, YOU (Ed Mylett), George Clooney, Bruce Willis, and Brad Pitt. Two of these characters are fictional, but there are qualities in everyone of them that I would love to, instill in myself. Although I have these individuals as my imaginary counsel, I feel like I have you in real life. You lift me up from the grave each and every time I listen to your talks. I never had any guidance growing up in life, didn’t have a father, didn’t have a mother, didn’t have a pastor, but this is the closest thing I’ve ever had to someone that encourages, or believes in me. I hate to say it, but what you do on your channel each time you share. I never had anyone like that personally in my life or knew anyone like you. You are the coach, you are the guidance that I needed when I was younger and I need now. I’m not the only person that feels this way. There are millions of people you touch with your podcast, KZfaq channel, Instagram, every time you speak at a convention and I don’t go to church, but if there if there is a such thing as a holy ghost, I definitely got hit by that listening to you talk at a convention.
