The mom checking out her daughter's phone use is just being careful. Not really meddlesome. The parents must be aware of what kids do on computers and social media.

I believe at the beginning of the video, it was specified that the type of meddling isn't a case where it is out of concern. The later example of a grown up married adult gives a much clearer example.

Thank you Gracely inspired! This word is so true in my life. Sometimes when unbelieving family members know that you are Christian, they try to push and always ask help and if you say you can’t, they immediately pull out the Christian card as if you are supposed to help everyone because you are Christian. Is the devil’s way of manipulating. I fell victim of that manipulation for years and then the Lord delivered me.

The points you shared are really true as I have experienced few ot these points. I was wondering about those points and was confused much. Now I have realized that setting boundaries at specific situations was not a wrong decision. Thank you for the video. May God bless you more...

Well I m 39 years old, pregnant with 2 baby. When I found out that I m expecting, I told my husband and he wanted me to abort our child. I called my mother for support, but she said listen to your husband.😮. I was so hurt, I called my grandma & friend from church and they prayed for me and been there for me with great support. I stood up firm to keep a baby and my husband seen my faith. Not all family members are there for you. God does use other believers to bring comfort & support. I been abused by my mother & father mentally a lot I still love them and respect them. I pray for them

Obviously, the narrator hasn't presented a scripture where it says not to help your enemies. He covenant left out referencing Matthew 5:43-48.
@GracelyInspired
@GracelyInspired Ай бұрын
I didn't say you should not help others (neither did I refer to them as enemies). As a matter of fact I repeatedly said this does not mean you should not help them. I meant in the context of saying you should not allow others abuse you or use you in an unhealthy way hence I used the example of a brother who takes money from you but spends it on gambling and wouldn't go to school. You can love others without allowing them to abuse you. This doesn't mean you are their enemies.

Keeping distance doesn’t mean you hate or mistreat them. He said very clearly to pray for them.

They are enemies if they aren't walking with the Lord. You said in your video not to help those who continue to ask for money. In the scriptures I referenced, Jesus doesn't say that.
@GracelyInspired
@GracelyInspired Ай бұрын
@@salescustomer-service2050 You left out a specific context which is very important. at 5:10 seconds i specified the type of family members "They ONLY run to you WHEN they need money". KEYWORD is ONLY meaning they use you. at 5:23 i said there is nothing wrong in helping your siblings but there is an unhealthy way of doing so. I think you are taking things out of context and leaving out crucial details that was said and adding things which werent said :)

Children need to respect parents. Matt. 15; John 14:15-17; Acts 2:38-39; Acts 4:12; Acts 16:30-33; Acts 22:16; Mark 16:15-16 AKJVNT. You'd better beware of the backstabbing "friends" you confide in. Also, Jesus Christ healed the beggar, because he was lame from birth through Peter and John in Acts 3.
@GracelyInspired

It is fundamentally true that the Bible commands children to respect and honor their parents. But the Bible also balances this out by stating that Parents should not discourage their children. Ephesians 6:4. (KJV) states:"And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord." Colossians 3:21 Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged."
@goodday23456
@goodday23456 Ай бұрын
That's very true, children are to be loved as Jesus Christ loved mankind, because they are a gift from God, and parents have a duty and obligation to train them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord and not discourage them or make them resentful, and children are to respect their parents (Exodus 20:12; 2Timothy 4:2; Matt. 15). "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Bottom line, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." AKJV

You’re only supposed to honor your parents when they’ve submitted to God. Unless they do, and you follow them, they can lead you to ruin as well. Same with spouses.
@jameslakewood1
@jameslakewood1 Ай бұрын
Children indeed for the most part should honor and respect parents However, it's true not all parents are good, some even abuse children in ungodly ways Let alone discouraging children, Ezekiel says "Don't follow in the ways of your parents" God is the God of abused children too
