With a small area, the house is designed to maximize functionality with full amenities. This small home is perfect for small family.

Welcome to Jasper Tran's home design channel.

Living in a cold climate, I love a place to hang coats as you enter the home, it also offers a nice, cold/wind the door is open, buffer for the eat-in area. The wood stoves in the living room another nice touch for cold days. Love how the windows allow more light in and make the space feel bigger. Of course the deck/porch is very welcoming.

I love the outer green . The window eating area is such a nice touch . And the walk in pantry is very useful . What caught my eye at first is the two front windows don't match in shape . I like this . I would change the tiles in bathroom . Lovely house. Very inviting.

This home makes my heart sing❣️ I love the 500 Sq ft size, and this is just over 600 Sq ft, but has everything one needs, lots of natural light, great flow, plenty of storage, wood stove... just lovely.

Nice cute house. But I am left with thoughts about safety. 1. The placement of the wood stove is problematic--there needs to be more space around it. 2. There is only one door to the house--it is true that windows can also be considered as egress but it is still better to have a door as a secondary exit. Otherwise, I really do like this house and am looking forward to see what you create next.

You make two excellent points. When I look at these small houses, I usually think of one of the bedrooms as a study or "tv room." A second door could go in there.

I also am not thrilled with the placement of the wood stove. Along with needing space, part of the charm of a fire is to watch it. Tucked into the corner trashes its visibility. LOVE the pantry!!!!! I would also lose the 2 chairs in the bedroom and add a dresser for socks, and undies.

A cozy place with most of the features that I look for. Some suggested changes are mentioned in other comments. I'd change the pantry to a laundry room with an exit door, and a pantry closet would replace the present laundry machines. The breakfast bar could be more kitchen counter and cabinets. I'd reorganize the living room furniture to either give more space around the woodstove or eliminate it and install a TV. I'd opt for a more practical tub/shower. But overall, this plan works!

A nice house over all. The only part I would change is the kitchen. You do not need the breakfast bar as well as the table. It would be better to run the cabinets across the front wall with the sink under the window. I would also eliminate the pantry. Integrate the laundry into the kitchen with a bank of pantry cupboards along the back wall. The work surface can extend back, creating a lot more work surface and making the table freestanding. The table can have a leaf or two to expand as needed, and the extra chairs used in the bedrooms when not needed at the table

The bulk of laundry comes from the bed rooms and bathroom, so the location of the laundry center here is actually ideal. Overhead cabinets shrink the size of a room. Also, the whole concept of living in a tiny house is to downsize and live simply, isn’t it? More storage encourages more clutter. I love the bar and stools, which are a perfect space to have a cup of coffee or tea while enjoying the front yard. Also, someone else commented about the lack of a second door - I would like to see a small French door in the second bedrooom/office. As for the fireplace, I would have it be either gas or electric; I’d hate to see such a charming, pristine home ruined with wood smoke and ashes! Better yet, remove it altogether to make room for the chair, which looks a fully cramped. All in all, I think this little house is wonderfully designed!

Jasper, this is a very cute house. I love the colors you used and I like that you placed it between two houses, that gave me me a better visual. Oh, I saw what you did with the address 😀 But we definitely need another exit door. I think this one could be a keeper for me ❤

Beautiful home……love the pantry off the kitchen. However I would reduce the windows in the bedrooms to two panes rather than three……..just not not enough wall space for portraits or paintings.

Very pretty. Is that a butler's pantry off the kitchen, behind the laundry? There isn't a lot of storage in the kitchen, so a butler's pantry would rock. I don't see that the window above the porch roof can be seen from the interior of the house. Is there a low attic, for storage? Or does the house have high ceilings? I agree with another commenter, the wood stove placement isn't code. Other than that, gorgeous. I would totally live in one of these houses, Jasper.

The house is well planned out for the most part. The living room looks nice but doesn't reflect everyday living. Television placement would be awkward with this configuration.

The decor of the house is absolutely wonderful - perfect balance of cozy cottage and warm modern. Nice floorplan, great amenities. Open and airy though small. The pocket doors are a great idea. The butler's pantry is rather over sized for such a little house. Although I do like a butler's pantry, in this case I might want to put an exterior door in it and use it as more of a mudroom. Or alternatively, open it to the kitchen for more living space. Now about the sound - the music is beautiful but the minor key makes it seems sad - like this is a bittersweet memory or something. The sniffles and swallows and rustling are "interesting." I suppose so we do not feel alone? Okay . . . I guess . . . The sniffles with the sad music suggest someone almost crying though. And - please don't do the floor creaking noise! It makes the house seem poorly constructed or like it is falling into disrepair. There is something unsettling about creaky floors anyway - it sets many people on edge - often used as a device in scary movies, etc.

Qu'est donc devenu le 1er étage. ? Durant la visite nous n'avons découvert que le rez-de-chaussée, mais de premier étage , point ! Et c'est bien dommage car cette maison est très charmante et très agréable.

There is no real place to have any kind of electronic entertainment (television, computer, etc) there is such a thing as cramped you know, no matter how pretty you try to make it.
