@@Tdesign510 Yes, they're a saga of books about a Cro-Magnon girl living with Neanderthal people. I've not read them either, but everybody says they're so good. I was thinking about making a light box resembling the interior of a cave, with rocks, stalactites and stalagmites, maybe an inner lake, with paintings on the walls (hands, horses, a hunting...), with a bonfire that illuminates and creates shadows with an orange light...

You can do this with wood, but light will have a harder time penetrating wood than paper, so the resulting light effect will also be worse.
