Honestly the world needs a saltimbanco revival in this day of age considering the show is about a joyful world with anti violence message.

I have a soft spot for saltimbanco. It was not just the first show of theirs I saw but I actually worked for them. One of fav memories.

Honestly I love how simple it was, without a bunch of other performances happening on the background to distract you. Wayyy better to focus and enjoy!

Saltimbanco was always a favourite with my mom, brother and I. My mom has been gone for 10 years now, and my brother and I have made it a tradition the last few years to watch it every year on the anniversary of our mom's passing as a memory. ❤ We always enjoyed the giant swing routine. 🙂❤

I’ve heard people complain of how dull the wire act from Nouvelle Expérience was, but a guy in his seventies doing comedy on wires is pretty impressive to me

Funny enough that guy (Brian Dewhurst) is a currently a clown at another cirque show Mystere. His son Nicky who was the guy doing the tight wire act also works as a clown on Zumanity, both shows are in Las Vegas.

I really love the duet of the two girls in Saltimbanco; the grace of their coordination and the harmonious sounds they create with their dance is amazing!

Saltimbanco was the first one I ever saw. It was 1995 and at the Albert Hall in London. I was 4 years old and for a while all I wanted to do was be in the show. We saw it again just before it closed. Looking forward to he Alegria show - that became a solid favourite. We were lucky to see that 3x. I really hope some day you and your incredibly talented performers will be back and as brilliant as ever 💖

I saw the Reinvente show in 89 when I was 6..then saw the next 5 shows each time they came to town. I grew up on those early Cirque shows and love them dearly.

For years, Reinvente was the only one I was familiar with. Didn't know they had other shows until I saw Allegria in 2002. I first saw Reinvente on HBO with my dad way back in 1987 or 1988. It's the one I have the most nostalgia for.

Every time I see the ARTISTS (with capital letters) from cirque du soleil, I am amazed by the magnificent things humans can achieve. Hats off ! They show we are capable of unlimited acts, they return the faith I have sometimes lost for humanity! Cést fantastique et réjouissance, BRAVO!!

i saw saltimbanco live when i was six years old, i don’t remember a lot, just the colors and the wonder, after that i was lucky to see alegria, kooza and corteo, cirque du soleil is my childhood, i had the saltimbanco dvd as a child and lost it, seeing this brought a thousand memories back, i used to listen to the soundtrack everyday! loved seeing this once again

Saltimbanco was the first show I saw back in ‘93 I think. It made such an impact on me that I was hooked. It was everything I imagined a real circus to be without the absurdities of other “circuses” I had been to as a child. The level of dedication to the art was astonishing and, it was obvious from the very first moment the show began. I rarely shed a tear from a performance but, Cirque du Soleil does every time I have seen them perform (and also David Gilmour on his red Strat)…a tear of joy!

Saltimbanco was my first show too. I saw the big top on my way home from work one day. Pulled in to see if there were any tickets left. I had never heard of Cirque de Soliel. I think my ticket was around $50. Went in, saw the show, was BLOWN AWAY! BLOWN AWAY, truly. I think I saw it 3 times more before it left bc I had to take my 6 nephews and friends and other family members. I still have the cassette with the score.
