You also have to consider Any driver boxes amperage pull in addition to the big box when you purchase the power supply.

Thank you as always! Btw - For a UHF repeater, would you recommend using a single one of the power supplies you showed? Hytera RD982 (50w RF out) Duty Cycle: 100% Power: 13.8vdc (+/- 15%) Current Draw: 0.8a standby / 12a transmit Also… where do you purchase power supplies from? And.. Have you used HP server p/s units? Thanks !

Check how warm your output bolts are getting. If you are pushing 500A through steel bolt - you will have noticable loss.

No good deed goes unpunished. I've given away my labor, charged only cost for parts, and still got cussed at by the customer who decided that I was cheating him. He had a price in his head of what the job should have cost. It was my mistake for listening to him when he said I didn't need to bother with a quote. Just get the parts ordered and do the job please. I was young, dumb, and full of ... Lesson learned. Always give a quote, and don't give ANYTHING away. Doing things for free doesn't make people grateful. Quite the opposite I've found so charge a fair price, give them the price up front.. Written or in email.. Get enough security money from them up front so you don't lose on the parts if they back out on the deal. If they decide you're a prick.. Don't worry about it. They would think that about you if you did it all for free and also took them out to a steak dinner.

I did make the same thing with 5 and I can't get mine to all work evenly. It's pretty much the same as you're with all the same length wires and all that

I took all the link or load share wires off and it took off. Other then the one supply given me fits. The thing worked grate

Bbi I built one similar to this and every electrician recommended running it on 240v. Do to amp draw. Is that one on 120 or 240?
