On the positive side I have learned so much from your videos an appreciate you art and your work. Being an American the speed at which you talk sometimes baffles me as I have a hearing disability and often can’t understand you due to your strong British accent. But that I am afraid is my problem and the longer I view your videos the more I am growing accustomed to your speech pattern. In the beginning you might have been speaking in Chinese as I had no understanding of your language. At the end of your video you finally identified rainforest as the underlining glaze of the pieces with the scalloped Smoky Merlo trim. Thank you so much!

your glazing videos surpass anyone else. the details etc and the way you edit video to show results,... and numbering the video so I can find it again. A wee list of the colours used would be the icing on the cake. thankyou for sharing with us your glaze combos, they are stunning, every time you showed us up close, i loved it, next one, i loved it, so safe to say, they were all amazing. will save this vlog to that i can watch it and try and match some of the combos you used. the pieces themselves were beautiful and showed the glaze beautifully, some of your 'mountain range' pieces, to me, looked like mountains in day time then inside at night. Glazing is not my favourite part of the process, so watching vlogs like this give me hope. Thankyou

Food safe??? I remember as a 4 year old going to the Moretti box making yard on Bluevale St. in Glasgow and drinking tea out of tin cans. That would be 1954 and I doubt the cans got any more than a rinse in between. I love Iron Lustre and have started combining more often with Oatmeal. I enjoy your videos and I am glad you did go ahead and post this one in spite of your "brain" mixups. If it makes you feel better, I can tell you that it reminded me very much of myself. I do that all the time. I sometimes joke about it saying it's the teflon I have on my brain from the Teflon pans I used to use while cooking. Keep on doing your stuff, you are so good at it, teflon and all ;-)

Your Ancient Copper seems "brighter" than mine. Maybe your kiln temperature is a bit higher ?

Thank you! I've been scared of oatmeal after seeing some nightmare stories. My clay body did not like above Cone 5. Before I buy some of these glazes, do any need a higher firing than Cone 5 to get these beautiful results? Truly stunning!

One last question ( When you are so inspiring, people want to create the same kind of beauty you do!) When my oatmeal dried, it got very flaky. Is that OK?

Your videos are inspiring to say the least! When you make " stripes (ie of blue rutile and smoky merlot) over iron lustre, is that one coat of each or 2 or three coats of each stripe?

hello! I wanted to ask you if its possible to mix/layer different glazes that are fired in low temperature when used on earthware?

I really like that you show the raw glaze followed by the fired result BUT you are confusing me by not being specific enough about all the glazes on the raw piece (and sometimes the wrong name). Glazes do not look at all similar to their final color in raw form, so I am having trouble accurately following what you have on the piece.

Not sure if it's true but my local supplier said Amaco discontinuing PC- 56. I was like... um what?

Why oatmeal flux instead of honey flux? What does it add or how is it different?
