I bought mine brand new for $2100 out the door. It was same color as this one. It was a 6 cylinder. Loved that car, we had it until it wore out. My brother had a 63, my Mother a 64.

Greetings, I recently bought a 65 Comet and found this video with your car and I like the modifications you made. Did you simply screw the battery tray on or did you have to modify it. Thanks

What disk brake kit, did you use on the front?

I put mustang spindles on the car when I converted it to 5 lug So running a conversion kit for 65 mustang to run early 2000’s cobra front brakes with parts from mustangsteve.com

Love the setup you put together on your car. I’ve got the same year, model (hardtop) and did the same conversion from six to V8. I just ordered the coil over setup you installed on yours. Wanted to know if you have the part# of the Griffin radiator, fan and how much area of the radiator support did you remove?. Thanks for the awesome video and keep them going. Thanks, Dennis

Radiator is griffin 1-26222-X I used the universal radiator mounts griffin sells for bottom of radiator, made my own for the top. The fan shroud and fans were a cheap set off of ebay close to the dimension i needed. I had to cut and weld mounts to make it work I don’t know the exact amount i cut out but it was less then 2” each side. If u need a specific measurement or close up pictures of anything let me know. I am happy to help.

What a/c system are you using?. With that setup does it stay relatively normal between 190-200 degrees in hot weather or have you not been there yet?. Thanks again. I’ll keep communications as I’m sure more questions to follow. 😊

@@lorettastephens7945 sanden 508 compressor, all of the aftermarket systems use thar compressor so i bought it separately while i did the serpentine setup. My plan is to buy a vintage air kit for a falcon and hopefully it will work. You can order those kits without a compressor. So far this radiator setup is alot better for cooling. I have the fan’s wired up with a relay to come on and off at set temps and is working great. I just did that this winter so haven’t driven it in really hot temps outside yet.

Just thinking about it this morning, I forgot to ask you how do you like the coil over setup?, does it feel pretty smooth or is it a stiffer ride. I ordered the same kit as you but I noticed they had a 350lb spring kit also. Thanks again for your reply.

@@lorettastephens7945 couldn’t like it more, you will be really happy. Its not too stiff. The best part is you can dial that in with the adjustment knob.
