Thanks I ran it with and without the exhaust and it didn’t really seem to care too much. The 7.81 and 7.90 passes were uncapped as I recall.

I definitely do. I had a 68 Camaro with a built 327 and spent years running mid to low 13s trying to run a 12.

Beautiful car sir. One of these days I'm going to come hang out with you guys. I know you know RonSSNova. I need him to clean up my tune on my C5 lol. Would love to go to Woodburn someday. It's had a reputation for being a great facility for years and years. I'm from up by Pacific Raceways.

Sounds good. The air at Woodburn gets really good in September and early October. Great conditions for personal best ET/Speed.

Nice breakdown. I remember watching the 55 make a wild night pass at PIR. So your 496 was the engine before the 540?

The 540 in the Nova was in the 55 before I got it. They upgraded to a solid New Century block but it was still a 540.

I have a question. Can I make a ford 9in made for a nova of this year fit a 67 Camaro I have an opportunity to get it the seller says all I need is offset bushings for the leaf springs and a 1/2 wheel spacer to make it work.. any opinions out there?

Hi Joel I think the seller might be right but I’ve never done that. Best to measure for yourself to be sure.

Which front clip did you use? How about the radiator and core support setup as well? Thanks. I'm building a 66.

Hello, it’s a Smith Racecraft front clip. The core support was custom fabricated. The clip and core support are made of chrome moly material. I definitely recommend the Smith Racecraft products, they are well made and bolt right up.

Was this car originally green with 6 cyl. from Michigan?

It was originally gold but it was repainted white when I bought it. It did spend time in Michigan though.

Hard to say it would need a much bigger fuel tank for sure. It also has a giant roller cam but so do a lot of the fast drag-n-drive event guys.

Can I fit a 67 nova rear end in a 67 Camaro?

Hi Joel, somehow I missed this message, sorry. I don’t have the specs on both the rearends but over the years I have heard you can actually make this swap and while the spring perches are the same distance apart the housing for the Nova is slightly narrower. Definitely something you need to verify and/or measure side by side. Again, sorry for the delay.

How does it work with no intercooler ? Any issues ?

No issues at all. It’s seen a maximum of 23 pounds of boost and the e85 helps cool the charge as it goes into the cylinder.

Wow I love old cars andnnnn fast cars, I live in Germany so I drive mostly around 250 km/h = 155 mph - but not with an old car - that would be nice if Porsche is coming and I am driving faster with an 1955 Bel Air something hahahah
