Yup. I had a character who’d been alive for a few weeks, just got out of a gunfight, and was pretty weak and out of water. Tried the boiling water trick with a stream, ended up dying as I tried limping back to my base for meds.

I'm glad it's helpful. I'm going to be focusing more on absolutely beginner videos for a while to balance the intermediate stuff. But sometimes when making them I remember things I completely forgot, so they might also be useful to players of your level and above. That's my goal anyway, but it's a very hard balance to hit! =]

You can also fill a small dry sack and place it within a large sack or clothing inventory. It will protect the items within the small bag, and if it breaks, you can simply transfer the items to another container.

Great info/content as usual. How do you turn up/down the mic on consol? I can turn it on n off, but not up or down. It's always on the mid range or 2 stripes as it were.

I got a question... I often hear people say that burrying a bag or crate with a shovel is a good idea to stash valuable items. Does this means you always have to stick with a shovel on your shoulder in the case you want to retrieve your items? Another question: How much time for the burried items to decay/despawn?

Yeah is does. Beter tip Build a crate ,drop it in deep enough water. Despawn in 41 days as i remember. En countdown restart after interaction

Crates last longer in water than burying them. Yes you need a shovel or any digging tool to retrieve your crate. Best hiding spot for burying is at the bigger churches with the grave yard. Bury the crate in a grave won't show the dirt pile. You can also hide crates in chicken coops and all the trailers around the map. Also spread them out the map don't have them all in the same area as you will spawn off the coast sometimes after dying.

Great vid, but the isolated base tip I sort of disagree with. We have an isolated base, but no gates in the outside. The doors prevent anyone from seeing it. Is that still a bad idea?

5:34 is wrong i think, bolts usually dont break too fast when you hit infected. you can grab bolts outta them too edit: also at 9:50 or so when you say foot bleeds arent bad cause they clot, it take 5 minutes to clot and youll have a blood infection when it happens, so i wouldnt throw it out there as a pro tip 😂

The best thing is, when I've done this in the past, the clothes havent suffered any damage, so you dont even need to carry an addition piece of clothing. If you see someone in a town, get a head of them, clear your shirt, place it over the mine in the 10 second safe phase and wait xD
