The Nux 6ixty 5ive was well received on the full demo a couple of weeks back and is an inexpensive amp-in-a-box low gain overdrive. I've got both and I love them both.. I wouldn't like to pick. Each is better than the other.. Both inexpensive so get both if you can... Have fun...

What I'd also say is that many of the cheaper pedals stand up very well when compared to their expensive counterparts.. The NU-X 65 is a great example of just that.

Moho has a deeper tone with more body than the 65 but I like the lighter punchier 65 sound also. It a winner no matter which you buy 👍

They’re both awesome. Maybe buy both, use the mojo mojo on single coils and the 65 on humbuckers?

The NuX has significantly dirtier gain, in a good way. The Mojo has more flabby bass and low mids, the NuX has more high mids. I prefer the NuX. The Mojo sounds muddy in comparison.

The mojo definitely has a looser feeling low end that gets less controllable when you push the gain up. The nux sounds great the more you push that gain up, so maybe both is the answer. 🤣🤣

Great tones buddy, nice riff work too👍😊💜✌️ I won't identify the obvious riffs, but caught drift of this one once before, Whitesnake, 'Still of The Night', when David Covers-dale was in his Kingdom Come phase/state of mind (I'm so naughty😀😀😀)🤔🤔😀😀✌️💜😊👍 Whitesnake being a similar euphemism as Sex Pistol🍌🍆🍒🍒

I don't know anything about stuff or things but... It sounded to me like the MojoMojo has a wee bit more Fuzz on it when the gain is increased. 🤷‍♂ Which is a good thing... I think

I think it probably pushes bass before the clipping, so the bass frequencies get driven too which ends up with fuzzy undertones. Might be the reason I like it so much 👍

The demo sounds great but I feel that the Mojo won't work well for everybody. I'm a newbie with a strat. I would buy the nux. Might be a good jan ray clone.

Yes, that's exactly it. I love it, but equally I've heard others absolutely hate it. It's a very unique sound and doesn't resonate with everyone

@@bruceman9581 I have tried the big spark and it is designed to be a lot less coloured than the mojo. The spark is a boost with some EQ and grit, the mojo is a drive through and through. I will get a big spark at some.point and I might just compare the two 👍

@@bruceman9581 I've heard people comparing them. I didn't necessarily get that vibe myself. This feels like it colours the mid range a bit more where the Jan Ray is based on the Timmy, which is designed to be close to transparent. If I were being metaphorical, I'd say they are playing the same sport but in different ballparks.

They’re very similar… the Mojo is a little brighter in tone but the 65 seems to do the lows better. It’s very close, both great pedals 🤘🏻

I think the mojo does lower gain better and the 65 holds gain better. I could justify owning both 🤣🤣
