Great ideas, thanks a lot for the video! I was looking at this little glass bowl to possibly put some cut cucumber in for the fishies to eat and maybe not make a mess in the tank.

I saw sponges there and I was wondering if those are safe for filtration

They would work perfectly for filter media, just rinse them out first to be safe
