I love Rahab. She was a real heroine and humble in the defeat of Jericho. She was neither rich nor powerful, yet she hid Jews. I also love Esther too because of her courage risking capital punishment herself.

Mother Mary not only said yes to God to become the Mother of Jesus, but she also knew at the Wedding at Cana that is was time for Jesus to begin his public ministry. Jesus said "Woman what does this have to do with me? it is not my time" Mary told the servants "Do as he tells you" Jesus then turned the water into wine . One thing that always touched me (being a mother myself ) is how Jesus never told his mother "No". Even when he was found in the temple when he was 12, he obeyed his mother and Joseph and left the temple with them. Mother was a humble servant of God and despite knowing that she would experience great sorrow., she continued to do God's will perfectly. I LOVE HER SO VERY MUCH!

As a great part of the Church, the many women religious who taught in schools, labored in our hospital should be noted as important in the Church. I, also think of the many women who spent their hours in the church praying like Anna in the Temple.

Ryan S. touched on a point about Sarah that most ignore, that she is the mother of the chosen people. God didn't want just any woman for this role, but chose Sarah specifically. And I think that's why God delayed the conception of Isaac for so long--for people to realize that it's not just all about Abraham. It's about Sarah, too. And her input into the project, as Isaac's mother, is just as important as Abraham's. God doesn't see women as just a receptacle to provide a service, but unique individuals. Yet, even today, most people, especially men who still do most of the interpreting of the Bible, still ignore Sarah's importance. Or she's regarded as some kind of loser who can't have a child and everything is held up because of her. This delay in conception is looked at as an inconvenience because of an old woman who can't provide a service and serve as a receptacle, because most men are looking at Sarah as if she's over the hill, and that her only value is producing little bodies. But God doesn't feel that way about Sarah, and recognizes her uniqueness and importance. It seems that most Christian protestant churches actually look at Mary in the same way that most churches look at Sarah, too. They don't look at Mary as being over the hill, of course, but acknowledge her only as a receptacle or someone to be of service, little more than a test tube to hold the test tube baby, Jesus. I think it's only Catholicism who acknowledges her role in giving birth to Jesus as important and personal due to her uniqueness, and acknowledges her status as the ultimate intercessor of the whole Bible.

Well stated! I am a Catholic convert that was raised in a Moody Baptist Church that instilled in me some great teachings and a thirst for biblical knowledge. They also taught me that my value and purpose was to be desirable and useful to a husband (that never materialized) to protect and provide for me. I am so thankful that I can now see the value, the gift, and the love of Our Lady outside of just being the incubator of our Savior.❤

I have a question, I know the Bible isn't complete, but I have heard about the life of Saints Anna and Joachim, why isn't that story in the Bible? It shows how when Anna was pregnant she was to eat and drink pure things to keep Mary completely pure when she was in the womb. I've always been curious.

I would like to see a show on politics. Where does the church stand on the most debated issues of our time (gun control, healthcare, immigration)? What political issues are most important to the church? And explanations for why the church involves itself in those issues and why it takes the positions it does. I'm a new Catholic and I learn a lot from your videos. I'm confused/ignorant about some of the politics of the church. I have faith in the wisdom of the Church, but I would like to understand on a deeper level and be able to articulate these things for myself.

Check out a Bible study through walking with purpose called discovering our dignity, a study of women in the bible. It's great. A theme of this study and what you're talking about is the extremely great faith of these women... Especially significant when you consider at this time women were not treated similar to men.

MARY'S APPEAL For the Immaculate Heart Triumph "Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death." "Make and distribute my green scapular as soon as possible, if given with confidence, there will be a great number of sinners converted, especially those souls who do not possess the true religion. They will receive many graces, to help them in finding and keeping the one true faith. Those who die wearing my sacramental green garment will be given a peaceful and happy death, and shall not suffer the eternal fires of hell. Furthermore, I shall Bless on Earth, every heart who makes my green scapular wear it or spreads devotion to it, for it is My Immaculate Heart, therefore treat it with profound honor and respect. In addition, all who wear or keep about themselves my green scapular badge, are agents of my Immaculate Heart. Hence the evil one is powerless to harm those souls who clothe themselves in my love." BRIEF BENEFITS - Green Scapular compared to the other Sacramentals - No enrollment needed just a simple blessing from a priest for any soul to benefit - One can give away to anyone in and outside the faith... even hidden from the individual and also please say the prayer. - Help a souls eternity especially those who are obstinate to keep it hopeful for everyone - Great blessing if worn in regards to wearing it but not a prerequisite to obtaining grace - When you feel your voice is not heard or one worries in regards to their eternity... heaven gives us hope for them in this sacramental - additional benefit: add Both Style Miraculous Medals for the purpose to give strength and signal graces to help souls when worn.

Good show I learned something but I take you with a grain of salt some of the old stories in the Old Testament. As a joke you have a bookworm, comedian and a Poet. I would like to ask the question because I missed the live shows. I am in Knights of Columbus. I am a firm believer in the New Testament. The 10 Commandments are concrete abstractly Jesus sums it up with two commandments in the New Testament love thy neighbor like them self. And love God with the mind soul Spirit. It’s like the Wizard of Oz that’s the Trinity right there and it’s owned right. My question is which is your favorite gospel out of the four gospels to each one of you can you do a show or four shows on each gospel in order and animals they represent. Also the consistency and the inconsistencies. For instance John has some inconsistencies during Easter time or Passover. Luke has some inconsistencies at the resurrection. Abstract versus concrete versus simple minded versus complex minded.? It’s like the Batman and the Riddler. So Mark Represents this and that… And so on I want to learn more details in the devil lol. Also mystics versus skeptics. I lean Towards mystics in Matthew and Mark and skeptic and John and Luke. And sometimes vice versa. Let’s dissect the four gospels please for heaven sake thank you. Jesus is like a dollar bill and the Gospels are like 4 quarters

To be a mach man is to be compassionate, loving ,showing mercy, total forgiveness, obedience to the infallible Magisterium of the holy Catholic Church which is the ONLY CHURCH THERE IS. Any moron can swear, the real strength is not to swear and to have respect for the holy and beautiful name of Jesus and holy name of God. Also to drink in moderation. To be true to one’s self one’s friend’s and to God. It’s a lot harder than you’d think therefore one needs Jesus who is Almighty God,and Our Lady, and one’s guardian angel. God bless. Praise Jesus and Mary always!!! Please watch the warning or illumination of conscience by Christine Watkins. Then The Papacy can NOT be destroyed. Then Don’t call protestant’s Christian. Then Following Padre Pio!

Holy people are real people. The only answer is to return to the Traditional Catholic Mass, which packed churches before Vatican II. The Novus Ordo is just another Protestant Sect. When I was young in the 50's there was a Catholic church on every corner in St. Paul, MN, and there were Masses all morning, at least 4, and you could pick your time to attend. Every Mass was full to the brim. There were converts outnumbering any othere time. and I was one of them. After Vatican II and the modernization of the NO, Mass attendance decreased. Stop modernization of the church! We need Holy Saints in our mist. This kind of talk won't bring people to the Truth!!!!
