Mad Max was so criminally underrated. Really deserves a sequel.

Sleeping dogs was so damn good. It's sad it got the reputation as "Kung Fu Grand Theft Auto". It was so much more than that

My mom got me Sleeping Dogs as a gift. Birthday, or Christmas. I don't remember. I DO remember every other game she ever got me being awful, so I went in with low expectation and OMFG....nearly a decade later, I still give her the occasional respect nod.

Played Mad Max during our first quarantine shut down. Was a perfect game that symbolized how it felt at the time. Absolutely one of my all time favourites.

Dragon’s Dogma was such an amazing game that I stumbled upon. One of the best magic systems in a video game I’ve ever seen, you feel so powerful with big spells but even if you aren’t a mage, leveling up is so rewarding

Just getting in to STALKER right now. The atmosphere is insane. Every encounter feels potentially lethal. There's a lot of really nice little touches that really bring you in to the game world. It will smack you around like you owe it money though.

I love the way how one could access the map in FC2.

The reason Farcry 2 is so loved is because at the time, on console, there was nothing like it. It was pretty ambitious and unique for a first person shooter.

The old western game called "Gun" I remember that game being so hype back in the ps2 days, it was my favorite shooter, unfortunately I don't know what happened to it.

The Saboteur is such a great game. One of the few I would love to see a remake.

I remember finding a note in Mad Max that was an apology to a dog for having to abandon it when the world collapsed because they weren't allowed to bring pets... I still choke up when I think about it

Kingdom come: Deliverance Massively overlooked RPG set in medieval times with realistic (and hard) combat, a good story, a beautifully fleshed out world and some choices left for the protagonist. It's the first game the studio ever made, which is why it hasn't gotten that much attention, but the reviews are fantastic and rightly so.

I LOVE The Saboteur and Prototype games so much. Thank you for finally validating this. Prototype was one of the first games I 100% on my own too. Man those were the days of gaming

Sleeping Dogs needs a sequel. It's personally my favorite GTA style open world. The story, the acting, and arkham like melee focused combat, and John Wu inspired action really drew me in

Thanks for mentioning The Saboteur. It is one of my all time favorite games. A game with one of the best atmospheres that i ever encountered. And a very unique setting. The color chromatic choice for the end of every story mission was one of my favorite aspects about the game. I am so sad that they never got to finish it properly. More missions were to be added (there are 2 secondary characters that dissapear at some point and nothing is to be heard about them anymore, also a whole area that cannot be explored easily that holds an entire castle. Supposedly there should have been a mission taking place there) and a lot of other tweaks to polish the game properly. At the same time while i am sad i always think to myself that there could have been the possibility for this game to never exist, should have ea closed Pandemic earlier. Those cunts. Keeping this in mind, i am happy that the game exists the way it is rather than not existing at all.

The Saboteur, that is still a brilliant Game that I love to revisit when time permits. You mentioned Destroy All Humans, one of my all time fav games on the first XBox and PS2 ( I think) Just brilliant Gameplay that is quite difficult to find these days. Having played 3 out of 7 (played the first gen of Dragons Dogma before it got fixed up, Saboteur and Prototype), quite glad to see I didn't miss too many gems.

Mad Max is one of my favorite games of all time! Great game and highly underrated. I've played through it 3 times. Wish they would come out with another one.

Sleeping dogs is one of the most pleasant surprises I’ve ever had in my 20 or so years of gaming. I got it when it was free with Xbox gold, didn’t expect anything special just wanted to try it out. Not only was the game fantastic but may have had some of the best DLC of the decade

Would love to see them remake prototype. A game where you're the ultimate badass, loved every aspect of that game. Sleeping dogs has a great campaign, worth a playthrough even today.

I played way too much of Just Cause 3 after it came out. So much so that it made me rediscover the love I had for video games as a whole after spending a long time struggling and failing to find some that would hold my attention for more than 2 minutes at a time. Not only was the game ridiculous amounts of fun, but it was absolutely stunning to look at, and the different traversal options the game gives you helps you see a lot more of that world and the detail Avalanche put behind it.

I've put so many hours in dragon's dogma. I'm glad to see this get some recognition.

I Also think Kingdoms of Amulur: Reckoning - Was something people missed out on, I have to say one of the best games of the time in my opinion. I am so sad the people who made it went bankrupt it was a bad choice of timing to release it on, as Skyrim was the king at the time if they had only waited till that hype died down or something. It was so unique and bright, the story was intresting and graffics were not bad back then, I myself chose to play it instead of Skyrim at times (No that doesn't mean I don't like Skyrim because I did, KOA Reckoning was just a refreshing change). =)

KOA: Reckoning is easily one of my top most favorite games. The most accepted reason that it’s not talked about that much is because it was released during Skyrim’s glory days, when it just first released. Three classes, with 6 levels to them. My first playthrough of it was a while ago, when i barely knew how video games worked. Now, my second playthrough? That one’s the main i chose, i picked the warrior destiny. I went all the way up to conqueror. One level away from Warlord. I had become the ruler of the House of Ballads, the Truesworn of the Warsworn. I kicked everyone’s ass. Niskaru, Tuatha, Trolls, Jottun, Bolgan, I had slain all of them. I wore my Warsworn armor throughout most of the game. I defeated fate, I won every battle. All but one. *_My controller’s right joystick. I could not beat it, it had broken. Sure it was playable, but at what cost? The moment I tilted it to the left, it would not stop. It stuck. I could not beat it._* So anyways thats how I got electrocuted from messing with my controller’s innards.

MATE . I just played and finished Mad Max yesterday and stumbled upon this video today. Such an underrated game. Felt a bit slow and repetitive at times. But, BOI WAS IT GOOD OR WAS IT GOOD. And of coarse a big fan of SLEEPING DOGS and PROTOTYPE (especially the 2nd). Actually will Play some prototype 2 now. And there's DRAGONS DOGMA (Played months non-stop) such love. The first Crackdown was incredible, that would have to be my favorite, underrated, open world game. Being able to go and do whatever you want at anytime was awesome! And killing bad guys grew your powers to be even more BA. Also, you could stumble into tougher areas and get absolutely crushed. Love it!

Kingdom of Amalur : Reckoning Was an absolute surprise to how good of a game it was vs how no one heard of it.

I still have fond memories of the original Terminator PC game from 91. You could play as either Reese or the T-800 and got dropped into central LA and let loose to find weapons, and vehicles along with Sarah in order to accomplish your mission. Yeah its old and the open world is less then a dozen miles north and south and less east and west but in 91 that was a lot.

Must say I’m glad to have had prototype. Those were some of my favorite games growing up

Sleeping Dogs and Dying Light are 2 games where I feel like they just never got the coverage or hype they deserved, Dying Light sorta did at least comparatively but Sleeping Dogs just went so underground for such an amazing game and every time I find someone that has played it its like one of their favorite games of all time, cannot recommend it enough

Kingdom Come Deliverance is one of the best open world games i played this generation after Witcher 3. Unfortunately so many people overlooked it because of the state it got released, it's pretty flawless right now after many updates. I highly recommend the Royal Edition, the DLCs are soo worth it, such a incredible immersive game.

I'm really glad to see The Saboteur get a positive mention. I'm not great with those kinds of games, but I thoroughly enjoyed this one. With practice, even a mediocre player like me could succeed. Also, props to the Devs for not shying away from the mature content, which made perfect sense in this game. It's a game I've recommended many times to different people, but I'm usually just ignored. I hope someone here, reading this, will go check it out.
