I really liked this video. I put the Spanish subtitles on to get my brain to associate words I can recognize in the subtitles with the way those words are actually said. I didn't understand everything completely because I'm still just a beginner, but I was able to get the gist of most of it. At some point I'll have to try to listen without subtitles at all, but I'm not quite there yet. Either way, thanks for the video. I'm a new fan of your channel. It helps that the version of Spanish I want to learn is Dominican (because of a girl I like haha), and Puerto Rican isn't too far off as you mentioned in a different video. Edit: I just rewatched it with the English subtitles while continuing to listen for the words I knew to expect from the first watch. Comprehensible input.

I didnt know that coach rock teach spanish language aside from teaching basketball until i saw this video. I learned many stuff in your basketball tutorials, now im starting to learn spanish language by watching your videos again. Great Stuff.

Those tips are helpful. I want to know when you listen to Spanish conversations let say in a podcast while you are walking should you list for comprehension or the rhythm of speech or don’t concentrate hard so you miss what they are talking about because I’m trying to interpret or listening for words that I know ?? It would be great if you would leave a response. When I’m getting discouraged 🙄 I hear you saying just don’t give up so then I move forward again 😁 I look forward to your videos.
