In early November, I did my final trip of the 2023 season. It was three very cold days. But I was able to make great progress on documenting the new Developed Campgrounds section of my website, and the frost-covered landscapes provided amazing photo opportunities. I also saw tons of wildlife in just three days. It was the coldest temperatures and the latest in the season that I had ever camped. Plus, it was my first non-solo trip in three years!

I haven't gone this cold yet, but I keep pushing it more each year. I really like Fall camping. With the wide angle view/placement of the camera this tent looks huge! I love my 2-man Ohm I got during that same sale. The guitar compositions towards the end sound new, very nice!

Being used to my Suma 2-person, the Ohm 4-person felt as big as the video makes it look! lol And thank you! All the music in this video is recycled from older videos, I only have one new piece this year that will make an appearance in the next two videos.

Im always surprised how stable your zoomed in footage of wildlife is freeholding the camera. My footage is shaky when I try that. Thx for the video.

Thanks! The further zoomed in you are, the harder it will be to get steady footage. I use a crop sensor with a telephoto lens, plus the R7 has a 4K Crop mode for a bit further reach, so all things together I'm not always at full zoom on my lens, so that helps a bit. And then I'll apply stabilization during post editing. And then some really steady hands too :)

We always love your videos, so this is no exception. The nights would have been crazily cold, especially with the tent all iced out. Did the site have hookup availability? A space heater would make a big difference. I love the guitar riffs at 8:48 and 12:24. Are these your own music? Cheers Bud✌

Thank you 🙏 This specific site didn't have an electrical hookup, and if I brought a space heater, well, I'd have nothing to complain about the entire trip lol. And thank you, yes all the music is my own. I thought it would be fun to create the music for my own videos with my classical guitar. The one you mentioned at 12:24 always tends to get stuck in my head after I listen to it.
