I absolutely love your content and I love the idea of a tutorial on how to blow dry your hair properly with Leslie, but could you do one on yourself using a wig? This is way more realistic to show how to properly blow dry your hair yourself than doing on someone else, which is always easier!

I agree with everyone. Chris, your tips saved me. My hair was super dry due to highlights. My hair is very long. My friends daughter was brushing my hair hair and the brush kept getting stuck. I bought every product you suggested. The first time I did the treatment for damaged hair, the results were amazing. I received so many compliments. I have been following for 7 weeks. People keep asking me what I am doing. I sent them your KZfaq channel. Please keep the videos coming. Thanks for saving me from a bad haircut. I was to that point.

@JoR00ke I use Chris's recommended products. I use the redken bonding treatment for damage hair. Watch the video on how Chris tells you how to shampoo your hair. I was having really oily roots. This is followed by Moroccan oil hydration mask. I bought a towel that Chris recommended in his video for my hair. I then do the trinity Chris suggested. I also use the blow out cream or the heat protection chis recommended. I sleep with a bonnet as Chris recommended. I know Chris said that there is no cure to grow your hair fast. Use the recommended products. I have watch almost all Chris's videos. Every one thinks I went to the salon to get my hair done. I also blow dry my hair. My hair is so shiny, silky, and soft. I had someone just ask me what I am doing differently. I asked if she could tell. She said you can see the results. Other thing Chris suggests is to use a little of the product. I apply the products the way Chris suggests as well.

Chris’s trinity hair routine is what saved my hair from split ends. Usually after coloring, I’d have lots of split ends running up my mid length to my ears cuz of how drying coloring can be. I didn’t know how to care for my hair after coloring. His recommendation of leave in conditioner and oiling the ends is what saved it. I use Pureology leave in and have tried many others in trial, always come back to Pureology. I use OGX coconut oil based on Abby’s recommendation and its a bomb for my hair. I still use drug store shampoo and conditioner namely Garnier Wholeblends Honey Repair & the coconut cocoa butter line. I have tried many other shampoos professional and drug store but they either make me shed too much or make my scalp itchy. I’ve found my shampoo soul mate. Leave in conditioner and oil is a MUST if you want healthy mane. Styling right after washing hair is also a golden rule. I never reach for my hair dryer until next wash. I don’t sleep with wet hair no more. If I ain’t got time to blow dry my curly colored hair, I won’t wash it that day.

I faced that problem. After that I started using products made for curly hair- no silicones, sulphates and parabens. Use a good leave in conditioner and hair mask. Also try to use hair oils like rosemary, argon. And don't use heat until your hair is healthy again. This worked for me.

I love the content & Leslie's interjections are adorable! Your guidance is appreciated & you've helped me figure out what's been going on with my hair. Before lock down, my hair was nice & my styles were on point, but I washed it too often & spent too much time styling it. During lock down, I stopped washing & styling and it was gorgeous - thick, shiny, & developed the perfect little wave. But, when salons reopened I did 'pandemic hair' experimenting with balayage & semi-permanent bright colors - but still no need to wash or style and it looked awesome. Then, I returned to the office so I needed to get back into a routine and needed to look somewhat professional but didn't want to put in the effort I used to before the lock down, and that's when it all fell apart. No matter what I tried, a style didn't hold, hairspray made it worse, the spray treatment I used before blow drying had oil in it and was pretending to be a heat protectant (liar!) was damaging my hair, and I kept going to the salon to get it cut shorter and shorter out of frustration because it felt gnarly & got frizzy - and I simply hated my hair (that used to be one of my favorite features). Anyhow, thanks to your videos - I've been able to diagnose what went wrong and what I was doing right every step of my hair journey! I've found products that work for me, learned how to use a blow dry brush, and am washing it every 3 days (my happy medium). My routine is improved (not yet perfect, but I'm learning), easier to manage, and don't have to go to the salon as often, and when I do, I leave happier than before. Thanks a million!

I absolutely love all of your advice I take whatever you say like scripture. Your hair care routine has done wonders for my hair. I've been doing the trinity method since July with the correct products for my hair type. I've gotten just about 2 1/2 inches of growth on my ends and everything is super healthy. I love the Ola Plex oil I use it in the morning and at night. For the first time I feel like my hair is truly healthy and I've stopped the bleaching. Thanks so much!!! I would actually love a hair tutorial on how to blow dry my hair. I struggle with that it's awkward holding the brush in the appropriate angles that my stylist does. Could you do a video on that?

Adding to the long list of thank yous. I had wavy, thinning, weak, ultra fine, oily scalp with straw-like split ends and a lot of breakage. I have hated my hair since childhood. KZfaq recommended your channel and I decided to tap on the first video. I decided to try out your tips and revamp my routine to include hair oil and a leave-in conditioner. It has been 4 weeks now and my hair is growing, there is significantly less breakage and it is looking the best it has ever been in 30+ years. I can almost last 3 days between hair washes. It has a healthy SHINE now! Thank you for saving my hair!! I finally know how to handle it!!

@AvitalR88 1) Doing my 2nd shampooing properly. I had been using too much product. 2) Using my shampoo soulmate Nioxin 4. 3) Using a leave in conditioner for my hair type and using only as much as needed. I'm embarrassed to say I overappllied leave in conditioner. I stopped using them thinking they didn't work. They work. The problem was me. Good luck!

K, Chris n Leslie. I’m 64, and trying to grow out my hair for the last time since…college. Them it was only a bit past my shoulders. I love long hair on women, yes even MATURE women. Ha! So, I’m grateful that you two have my back. I try to stay away from the hot air drying because I’m so fearful of damage. I’m a natural dryer, who is going to rethink that. I love your product. Recommendations, and especially the oil. It is so helpful to those poor ends I’ve neglected. Here’s to long, beautiful hair, with few bad hair days.

I'd say air drying is still fine if you don't care too much about styling it a certain way, but sectioning it off and making sure each part is actually dry before letting the next one down is key. It can take an hour or two, so if you shower very late at night it won't work; I am often impatient and drop the next section before the roots are full dry, but I'm willing to put up with the small kink it can produce in the morning since it's generally hidden.

There are bonnets, that look like longish cotton beanies on the outside and are lined with silk or satin on the inside. You get all the pros and don't have to look like your grandma, if you don't want that. And regarding the bun, I feel like it helps to basically first form the bun and then put the hairtie over it. That distributes the pressure and you don't get that weird krinkle on the place only. I also don't like invisibobbles at all, but theres alternatives to the classical hairnties with the metal parts. I really like the hairties made of super elastic and soft jersey. You can get a huge bundle for cheap on the internet.

👏👏👏Thank you guys for another 12 min of fun, good vibes and valuable information. I btw did one of the exact mistakes you, Chris are talking about. I colored my hair at home and didn’t notice any damage at all, so I just washed it in 5-6 days without special treatment. Which was very foolish thing to do. The whole week after that I’ve been struggling with frizz and dryness and even my fresh color began to fade. Silly me. In the second after the coloring wash I treated my hair as I should have. Hope it helps. And the question is, if I wash my hair once per 5-7 days, how often I should use bonder and mask? The product instructions say “use once a week”. So should I use it every time I wash my hair?

Hello! Thank you for the video and others that I watched. I was looking for videos that showed how to care for hair when transitioning to gray hair. As the loss of melanin over the years and the appearance of your hair, you need to be more careful and there is nothing better than an expert on the subject to suggest products, care, what to use, what to avoid. Well, I'm 57 years old, I try to eat healthy foods and I have long hair with black to brown strands, wavy and since March 2023 I've been in the process of transitioning to gray strands which I believe I have between 65 to 85 gray strands distributed and with root 8 to 12 cm already white due to transition. And due to allergies to dyes (I've tested several over the 10 years of use, whether vegan or not, and few that didn't cause scalp allergies), with long trips to maintain the color and with my husband's encouragement, I ended up choosing for taking on white people. My problem is maintaining them, what products to use and trusting a hairdresser. And that's what I felt with you in the videos. But I've been looking for your videos on this subject. If possible, I would like you to post a video talking about the care, treatments, specific products, the suggestion of disguising with dyes and which cuts are appropriate (cut to size). Well,💫🌻🐬☀ that's! I await your response and that you continue to pass on this generosity to your audience in demonstrating the right thing to do and what to avoid. Thanks!

I recently highlighted my hair for the first time in this past year, scared to death, but due to the routine and Redken's Intense Bonding Treatment, it appears to have very minimal damage from the process and looks fantastic.

That Big Blow out stuff is awful though, at least for wavy/curly hair. I had to wash my hair again to get it out. Curly people need something way different to hold the curls.

Thank you Chris for all of the information you share with us. I rock curly hair mostly just because I don't know how to heat style well. I have super tight curls (I guess it's 3c texture?). Yesterday I tried Pureology leave in and redken frizz dismiss cream and omg what a difference to my blow dry! I use the Revlon one step blow dry brush. I know you advocate styling right after washing but doing long coily hair is such a chore, it took me 40 minutes to wash hair (shampoo twice, deep condition, and detangle). And about an hour to blow dry (add leave in and blow dry cream, brush after each product application, rough dry using blow dryer with comb attachment, then style using Revlon one step on low heat), then applied oil to ends. What are your thoughts on doing iron work the next day? As in wash and blow dry at night for example, then curl with curling wand or straighten with a straightener the next morning? It would make routine much easier to divide it this way. But I also don't want to risk damaging my hair either. Thank you! 🩶

Thanks so much for your amazing tips, Chris as they really saved my hair! Is it true that if you condition your hair too much it can actually make your hair drier? thank you

My hair texture was changing. It was drier, frizzy and wiry. I kept using heavier and heavier masks thinking that would fix the problem. It did not. I binge watched Chris's videos and followed his routine exactly as he says. my hair now looks expensive. Glossy, bouncy, smooth, longer and thicker.I can't thank this man enough and I am so annoyed at all the misleading information out in the world when its actually this simple. Thanks again Chris.

Hi Chris Thank you so much for all the information you share with us. It has really made it easier for me to take care of my hair now, however I would love to know what is the best hair care routine for natural curly hair. I live in Australia and the humidity makes my hair very freeze so I have to put my hair up all the time in order to look like a human, if you know what I mean!!! Please help me 🤗

I love using invisibobble. Especially to hold the hair when i apply conditioner and then shower the rest of my body while i wait for it to work. Doesn’t tangle and holds the hair well if you don’t over tie it :D

Chirs, I know you said normal coloring is not that damaging to one's hair as long as it's not highlights. Please do a video that addresses how to take care of hair AFTER HIGHLIGHTS.

Any chance of video of long haired, inept human being taught to blow dry their own hair? Totally and obsessively love you both and sincere thanks, it all helps! I have good hair and healthy ends but my technique (blow dry brush or round brush) on fine long hair makes for yucky ends that I try but don’t know how to do it. They never look good enough/good at all. Anyway, love it all, keep, posting and also I read comments so if anyone can help, I’d love that. I think I have all the tools and for sure the trinity system and products are in place.
