Tell you what ---- #3 hair cut REALLY works. By keeping hair in front, able to see exactly how much to trim off, and best perk is hair is even. However, I have "curzzy" hair, so I use low temperature to straighten out my hair BEFORE I actually trim. I consider LOW TEMPERATURE to be 200*, no hotter.......

I have a question and a request for you Chris - I get my hair rebonded/Japanese straightening every year which makes my hair eventually feel coarse and dry to touch and also weak, do you recommend any additional products for that? Also, are you able to make a video addressing people who get hair treatments done regularly? I have a lot of friends who get this treatment done and it would be helpful to us. I recently discovered your channel and I'm so grateful for all the information you share and the products you recommend! I already ordered a few of the recommended products, can't wait to recieve them!

I would love to see a video on how to care for and style my naturally curly hair. You've convinced me I need professional products. So once I've got better shampoo and leave in conditioner, I don't know how to dry and style my hair without brushing and blowing all my gorgeous natural curls out and creating frizz, or accidentally straightening it. I usually squeeze out the excess moisture, use a leave in conditioner, then let it air dry or diffuse. I certainly couldn't touch a hairbrush or I'd ruin my natural curls.

Chris!! You've changed my hair life so much! Till I met you I thought I had fine and demanding in care hair. Now I know my hair are actually medium, it can last without a wash for 3-4 day, 5-6 with dry shampoo, 7-8 with proper styling. There are still things that are hard to get here in Poland - like heat protectatan or dry shampoo you advise (so if there are any other products in these categories which are at least ok -let us Polish gals know!) But I still managed to put my hands on redken vol. injection shampoo , conditioner and frizz dismiss cream, purelogy leave-in conditioner, olaplex no 3 and 7, and moroccanoil mask. So I think I'm off to good start. It's been over two weeks and "the" results are there!! Leslie - you're great as well. Big Polish kisses guys!

Honest honest game changer. If you have problem with static electricity in your hair during the winter number one, get a really good root cleansing shampoo or root cleanser in general. If I remember right it has to do with all the build up of product in your hair. Once you get all of it out you should be able to tame it better. Second of all, get a good wooden comb. That should solve most of the problem for your staticky hair. I’ve been using both methods for at least seven years & it works wonders.

Hello! Love the videos. I’m in the process of trying to repair my colour/ heat damaged hair. Getting there, slowly but surely!! I was wondering do you have a video for caring for your hair while on vacation? I’m going on a sun holiday for 2 weeks. I’ve fine hair and I would sweat while out sunbathing so I end up washing and straightening my fine hair each day (only feel confident with straight hair, and I’ve zero blow dry skills). I’m hoping to get a blow dry brush to try that, but might not have that for the vacation, any advice? Of course, I’ll be doing the basics, shampoo, conditioner, leave in, heat protector….

I think the last girl has naturally kinky coily hair and she came in for one of those Brazilian blow outs... I don't think its really fair of the stylist to call her "troll hair" or to make fun of her natural hair texture.

@@antoinettenyuurnibe3302 Im honestly not sure where she's from, I've only seen the clip on this video. Funnily enough though, any race can have any hair texture. Ive met white people with 4c curls as much as people may say it's not possible, and plenty of black people have naturally silky smooth hair. Genetics and history are more complicated than any of us can possibly know. Which is exactly why nobody needs to be dunking on anybody's hair texture. I really can't get over the fact that anyone thought calling her hair "Troll hair" was appropriate in 2023.

Question, can dry or damaged hair appear coarser than it would be if it was not damaged? After watching your videos, I initially thought I had medium hair, but pushing my hair to day 5 or 6 even with proper washing technique and recommended products results in greasy underlayers and very dull hair on top of my head. After using your recommended products for about a month, my individual strands feel smoother but also finer than they did before. It is hard for me to understand what a fine strand vs. medium strand looks like.

I wanted to ask a question. What is the best way for me to protect my hair every day while i am at work cause i am a painter. I spray paint almost every day at work and i am also a carpenter so sawdust is always in the air at my work place. So i obviously wash my hair EVERY DAY because of this. My hair is also colored purple and i extremely damaged right now because of mistake that i maid at the beginning of this year while coloring it (my purple hair turned black because of new different purple haircolor i used so i obviously made a bad move and bleached it till it was very blond and then used my usual purple color and all this in a week) and i haven't gone to stylist to cut it since last august. So my ends are very crisp🥲 So i would like if i didn't have to wash it every way to make it at least little better than what it is so what is the best and most gentle way to cover my hair at work? Would love some advice please 🥺

I'm not a hairstylist but if I was trying to protect my hair I would braid it and cover it with satin or silk scarf.

Could you make a video watching and disproving all the hair Instagram accounts that promote their own “custom hair” concoction when it’s really just Monat Marketing. Their everywhere and it’s so sneaky. I almost fell for it once in the past

Wait, at @8:25 how did her hair go from poofy and frizzy to shiny, stright and smooth? I'd like to try and achieve that smooth look. Does Blow drying achieve this?

I’m pretty sure she just had a permanent straightening done to her regrowth.
