Your voice has been soothing our dog since we first brought her home! She would calm down and sleep when she heard your voice...we rescued her off the street from a heroin addict who couldn't care for her (the lady was trying to take care of her but was homeless and very messed up, poor thing. No judgement here, just the way it was). She is older now, but still loves to curl up with me late at night and listen to you! Thanks!!

While living in a small town in northern Saudi Arabia and living among local folks I came to know the superstitions of the local people. Stories abound with a strong belief in djinns and witches mixed in with their Sunni Muslim beliefs. Really fascinating stuff in an ancient and beautiful land...

In Islam we believe in djinn just as much as we believe in ALLAH. It's a big part of our religion and a part we try to stay away from as much as possible going as far as not even mentioning the word "djinn" in our homes. It really is fascinating though
@usamaiqbal1837
@usamaiqbal1837 Жыл бұрын
@@saiqhai9968 weird comment lol. I'm muslim as well, we believe in God/ Allah first and foremost and in jinns are creations of Allah that have free will just like humans, they can choose to be good or do evil. Just like us they live in communities, are of different colors, different religions.. Putting them on par with God by saying we believe in them as much as a bit inappropriate don't u think, and no, we talk about djinns all the time in the middle east, I'm sure you must be from south asia? If you don't talk about them in your homes doesn't mean the rest of us don't, don't lump islam in with culture
@saiqhai9968
@saiqhai9968 Жыл бұрын
@@usamaiqbal1837 you misunderstood, what I was saying was that we believe in djinn because modern science does not acknowledge the existence of either, ALLAH or djinns. I was not putting djinn on a equal level as ALLAH at all.

Jinns and witches are part of the Islamic faith, they are mentioned in the Quran. However, it's true that Ancient Arabs also believed in their existence, and it's recorded that Arabs used to make deals with demons, especially the Arab poets who worked with Jinns to get inspirations.

okay so this is really weird, but I've heard almost that exact same sheep story told as a folk tale before, but from someone from literally the other side of the world from Iran, and about a different creature entirely. The story I heard was from Peru I think? Unless it was from Bolivia and I'm mixing it up) About a creature from Quechua folklore called the Ñaqa (I think that's how it's spelled? I'm not totally sure), which is supposed to be a spirit kind of like a Banshee in Irish folklore, in that it appears to people as a harbinger of death. The Ñaqa, though, takes the form of an animal (usually a black one iirc) that can speak like a human, but you will only die if you respond to it when it talks to you. In this story, a Quechua peasant farmer was walking from the market in the nearby town to his farm in the hills one evening, frustrated because he didn't have enough money to buy anything from the market, when he came upon a black sheep just wandering around a small valley unattended, not marked as if belonging to anyone, and realized how valuable a new animal of this quality could be to him and his family, so he hoists the sheep over his shoulder (just as in the story above) and starts carrying it home. After he gets a ways away, he suddenly finds the sheep's face is right up near his own, and then suddenly out of nowhere, it says to him "I like your nose". Shocked, the peasant responds "umm, thanks?" before suddenly realizing with intense horror what is happening and what he just did; he just spoke to the Ñaqa! He immediately dropped the sheep and ran home in terror, but already knew his fate deep down. Predictably, he became mortally ill within the week and died several days later. I don't know why, but as ridiculous as this story is, it always creeped me out. Strange to hear a story from so far away that is so similar.

I strongly believe in the existence of Jinn and witchcraft. My cousin was possessed by a jinn that made her speak in a weird dialect, and used to tell her who was going to visit her and a lot of other spooky stuff. The jinn told her that he was sent to her by means of witchcraft in order to prevent her from getting married, and the person who was responsible of that was her parental cousin who was madly in love with her and whom she had rejected his marriage proposal. The jinn told her specific details as where the sorcerer who put a spell on her lived; he said he lived in Oujda in Morroco. After that, her cousin came up to her and kinda confirmed what the jinn said; he offered to take her to Oujda to "cure" her in exchange of marrying him but she refused. Eventually after many exorcisms the demon left her body and now she's married to a nice guy and has a daughter.

Ever heard of a veterinarian? Some of the last words spoken in the “something killed my dogs” story were “I’d do anything to protect my family.” And yet..you listened too your dogs fighting a creature all night long and then allowed some of them too die without any proper intervention to prevent it from happening or help them in any way. If your brother or cousin broke both of their legs because they were hit by a car, would you nurse them back to help at home with homemade splints?! Or would you get them medical help? And then, the fact that she got an infection means it was a lot worse then just a couple broken legs. That alone is severe enough for German shepherds who notoriously have hip problems as they age and an injury like that along with any wounds she sustained would probably effect her quality of life too severely in order for her to get back too normal unless she got PROPER treatment and physical therapy. You’d be charged with neglect if you chose to care for a human in that way. And your dogs ARE apart of the family! OBVIOUSLY! More pure and more worthy of loyalty then the loyalty they show us humans. If you can’t afford to take care of your animals, you have no business having any. I worked as a nurse in an emergency room for animals and I cannot tell you how many people walk through the door having not a care or inclination as to what they have done (or not done) which resulted in their animals ending up in the ER in the first place! They act as if they didn’t do anything wrong and have this attitude like they are better then all other beings around them..have it be human or animal. And those people usually get reported and have too deal with the court system after that. I will say though, that if you take your animal to the hospital, you are at least trying. It’s the people who don’t care and their family member or neighbors call the cops or bring the animals themselves. The US needs to get the ball rolling with animal cruelty laws being just as severe as crimes against humans though. It’s ridiculous. I shutter to think of what happens too the animals we don’t end up treating. 🙇🏻‍♀️ that’s my Ted talk for the day. Sorry for the rant. I just can’t stand some people have this nonchalant attitude towards what happens to their animals.

Yes there are Djinn, I didn’t believe it, none of it, I served 3 tours in Iraq, the 3rd & final was guarding a Ziggurat (idk why) but there were all kinds of strange issues happening at sun down, rampant comm outs, chatter no one called in, nvg’s blacking out in certain areas & only turning back on when we left the area, and whispering at night. It was ridiculous, it was a horrible tour and thankfully I got out of the military a month after I got back. Fk ever working for or with the military again. I’m sure the special operations & 3 letter alphabet spook types have much better OR worse stories, depending on your mentality, as they often worked in very forward based locations, sometimes a couple hundred miles out. But srsly that’s the part of the military experience where I realized they don’t give af about you no matter what position or level of authority you hold.

I was raised in the Zagros area of Kurdistan. The Palavan stories are told to kids as bedtime stories 😅 no wonder these stories bring me comfort even with the severe ptsd they also caused lol

I kinda wanna meet one and ask for help overcoming my CPTSD. I'd be like, "yeah, I'm afraid, but, at the same time I have an offer. You assist me overcoming my fears which I trust you could find a way to manifest, and in return, you can feast upon that fear as I grow." Hopefully a friendship would be born, and I would bring them back to the US and tell them to invite others.

Hello. The word 'braug' ?? Not sure of the spelling, but the way it sounds, is a South African word for a dog. ( brák ) the 'a' like in 'dark' ... is the word brak. Take care. Thank you for uploading. ✌

Story 1. Clearly Zoroastrian mythology. The most I've heard shared about this incredibly secretive religion, in decades.

If you ever wanna know these subjects, ask a local child. The adults have built up too much fear to speak of these creatures
