I'm 16 and only just started getting into cooking, these videos are very inspiring to me and I cannot wait to make dinner for my family one day using these recipes!

i dont understand why they dont saute the garlic or onions before putting in the chicken... the chicken would have more flavour

finally some recipes where i can use a whole chicken! I like to buy a whole chicken and then cut it up myself (wings, drumsticks and thighs, breasts and carcass) and use it for different purposes, because it's cheaper that way and i can reduce waste that way. But most recipes call for chicken breast or filet, or the broth (where i use the carcass and wings) - but i barely get anything for the thighs and drumsticks without having to batter/bread and fry them! So thank you

Made the first dish and it is indeed delicious. I used way more onion, garlic, and pepper. I also added yellow squash, red pepper, and spinach. At the very end, I added about 2 cups of crushed peanuts. I used a pinch more nutmeg than recommended, and the whole thing was great.

I made the cheesy chicken and broccoli pasta today. A lot of playing it by ear since there are truly no clear instructions. I'm no cooking expert, which is why I often seek quick and easy recipes online. For one, I don't think this recipe requires so much damn liquid (2 cups chicken broth + 3 cups water + 1 cup milk) that is never done and completely overcooks the pasta. I think I'll make the chicken and use no water next time, make the shell pasta separate (undercooking) and then just throw it in with the milk and cheese to melt at the end...thank God the broccoli did not overcook as badly or this would have been a complete waste of food...for this recipe I'm gonna have to go with ooohhhh noooo!!! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️
